@j4yssc4r3d This is part of body dysmorphia. People put value into these numbers and when they dont think they look how they should at a certain number it triggers body dysmorphia.
@raftahHH Y’all really have to audacity to shame people with bed because “it’s unhealthy” meanwhile being on edtwt starving yourself. Claiming to be pro recovery but you mock anyone who isn’t skinny who’s trying to recover. This is how people develop other eds or fall back into bed
@raftahHH@sprinklymelon She has an eating disorder. She's not going to eat normally, just like you and I arent. How do you think recover works from eds?
yeah
this is why when i say that super low bmi or extreme recent wl accounts posting bodychecks & claiming they’re bigger than they are or don’t see a difference may actually have the delusional type of BDD that genuinely morphs sensory input like vision & touch of their own body
@EllyIsPurging I wonder why everyone is so concerned about typical/atypical anorexia. Nothing changes in your mental state when you eventually reach underweight bmis. Even psychologists say there's no real difference but atypical anas suffering from noone noticing or believing them.
@EllyIsPurging if someone can be diagnosed w atypical anorexia, there’s nothing stopping them being diagnosed with just anorexia nervosa. the weight “requirement” can be subbed with -20% body weight in 6 months.
