@TheJaredian We've been shutting down refineries in this country for decades. You may freely put the blame on everyone in Congress and it would, likely, be more accurate than any President.
@feelanceeng@Ur_a_Smartass_C As I understand it, Canada kills more people every year, via "assisted suicide", than firearms kill in the US. Perhaps we should look at banning the Canadian government while we're at it.
@phorne96@Austen Perhaps some high minded individual can partner with other concerned citizens to pool money freely to provide for exceptional youths to spend several years obtaining credentials which will never have value. As opposed to taking from others by force or raising the debt.
@RandPaul Didn't they print that money because Congress keeps spending money it doesn't have? I understand it's personally useful to point fingers at others to deflect blame from your own group's failings but it isn't helpful.
@OcrazioCornPop@SecMullinDHS So, I asked why more Haitians haven't been deported.
"Haiti’s severe gang violence and lack of government capacity have significantly slowed or complicated mass deportations, despite the recent end of Temporary Protected Status (TPS)."
@anurarespecter Do you honestly believe that all the things which have happened under Blanche didn't start until Bondi left? Did you honestly not notice that we were closing the border and deporting people under Noem, and fighting the courts?
@nick_lindquist I love how Whataburger chick goes on and on about the things she'll do if elected Governor which aren't in the authority of the Governor to do.
@presjpolk In fairness, we the people should not be obligated to subsidize student loans regardless of their economic value. I could see some value in providing money for people to become doctors, or whatnot, provided they agree to work in an underserved area for a time, but generally? No.
@ATC_1984@DefiantLs@Kalshi Congress controls the money, not the President. The debt at the end of Biden's term was $35.5T. Was that because Trump's bosses told him to collapse the dollar?
@DefiantLs But firearm ownership in South Africa is heavily regulated. How could this be?
For those of you whose batteries are running low, this was sarcasm.
