@GoshawkTrades "So, your AI project was killed by the CEO."
"What? That's how we were going to deliver the project on time. Can we move the date, now?"
"LoL. What? No, lol. No. Ship it on the date you promised."
@yanda@OpenAI Same. Iโve been building things that my family needs, with all the nuances of a niche set of users - that no company would ever customize just for us. Itโs amazing.
@JNavok So many people don't understand the [pay devs good salaries/price games inexpensively/don't use AI] framework won't be a functioning business structure in the future.
@jamonholmgren I haven't formalized this for all responses, but I will often ask for answers in three formats:
1 - A short elevator pitch/summary of the answer
2 - A bullet point list of the answer with the key points, but keep it short, 5-8 bullet points
3 - A full/more complete answer
@allenholub Isn't there an advantage to being able to iterate your product faster and get to PMF faster? If you can cycle customer feedback in days and your competitor takes weeks or months, that feels like an advantage. Typing faster seems it would contribute to that.
@justalexoki AI Lab leaders going on TV for the last several years telling everyone that the AI they're building is going to destroy all jobs probably contributed to that a little bit.
