The @Akali_Dal_ and its President @officeofssbadal stand completely exposed after the Akali student outfit SOI announced its support for the ABVP, the student wing of the @BJP4India for the Panjab University Students elections.

It is not that Sukhbir Badal has decided it. It is Mr Amit Shah, who decides and dictates things now.

That is the extreme level of desperation on part of Sukhbir to have an alliance with the BJP.

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਉਦਾਸ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਵੜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਲੋਕ BJP ਨਾਲ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੱਠ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੁਰਸ�� ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਬਹੁਤ ਏ।

Manish Tewari ji is an excellent parliamentarian and has rendered yeoman service to Punjab. However, he currently represents the Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency, and there has been no recent statement from him asserting Punjab’s prior and sovereign right over the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

On the contrary, his recent position appears to favour Chandigarh continuing as a Union Territory. Against this background, a clear conflict of interest arises, making it inappropriate to include him in any committee concerning the State of Punjab.

चीफ जस्टिस ने कहा था कि दिल्ली में बड़ी संख्या में वकीलों की डिग्री फेक है, सीबीआई जांच होनी चाहिए। अब बार काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया भी कह रही है कि 30-40% वकीलों की डिग्री Fake है.

इस पर हड़कंप मचना चाहिए था, ईडी-सीबीआई लग जानी चाहिए थी, लेकिन सिस्टम ने क्या एक्शन लिया? Fake डिग्री लेकर वकील कोर्ट में घूम रहे हैं.

Bhagwant Mann is often taken lightly by people outside Punjab. Maybe because he comes from a comedy background. Maybe because he does not fit the usual political image.

But honestly, if you look a little deeper, the person is a gem.

After becoming an MP in 2014, many politicians would celebrate power or slowly move towards arrogance. Bhagwant Mann chose something else.

He went to Khatkar Kalan, the village of Bhagat Singh, and made a promise to himself to wear a basanti turban as a mark of respect.

Since then, you will never see him in any other turban.

That kind of consistency is rare.

For some people, a promise is just words.

For a few, it becomes their identity.

He also publicly took a vow in 2019, in the presence of his mother, to quit alcohol completely.

And today, a person with that much determination is being casually questioned and reduced to allegations.

That shows our sick mentality.

A person who was once a peak comedian carries humor, intellect, timing, observation and deep understanding of society. Comedy at that level is not possible without a sharp mind.

I hardly make predictions, but Bhagwant Mann is someone who has the capability to lead this nation one day, even as Prime Minister.

Sometimes we fail to recognize people not because they lack depth, but because we refuse to look beyond our assumptions.

जिन-जिन आतंकवादियों को पकड़ा गया या ‘रॉ’ के सदस्यों ने जिन्हें ख़त्म किया और जिनके नाम इस मूवी में हैं, वो सभी काम UPA की सरकार के दौरान हुए थे और उससे पहले भी आतंकवादियों को ‘पकड़ने’ का काम कांग्रेस की सरकार के समय हुआ, पर क्या करता बेचारा डायरेक्टर, चीज़ों को तोड़-मरोड़कर थोड़ा बीजेपी का एंगल डालना जो था…..

फिर भी तारीख़ें तक गवाही दे रही हैं कि - धुरंधर में जो भी किरदार हैं, उनके खिलाफ़ जहाँ-जहाँ एक्शन हुए हैं, वो कांग्रेस की सरकार के दौरान या फिर UPA की सरकार के दौरान हुए हैं.

चूँकि इतिहास तारीख़ों के ज़रिये बोलता है, इसलिए मोदी-तंत्र इस इतिहास को ही बदलना चाहता है.
