Advocate, Supreme Court

[ANI @ANI]

#WATCH | Delhi: On a Rs 500-crore defamation notice sent by Satish Salian, father of late Disha Salian, to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, Supreme Court Advocate Anshuman Sinha, who is representing him, says, "Regarding the tweet Thackeray posted, he did not mention anyone by name. Essentially, he was simply reiterating his stance that he neither knew Disha Salian nor had ever met her... therefore, the question of defamation does not even arise... If they do approach the court, we will provide a response there... Our position remains that there is no evidence to support the allegations. It is a matter for the investigation. Let the investigation proceed; the truth will eventually come to light."
