A horrifying video went viral on Friday of a teacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district ordering students to slap a seven-year-old Muslim classmate

Of course, I have a selfish interest.
We at @c4ein are exactly what I said above (independent, small, ambitious, good people, open to collabs, etc etc) and we want to grow.
I use hardly use Twitter but my question today after reading this https://t.co/83AxSumgKP is how much do netas get paid to visit random awards from small to not none publications and platforms. Journos should check this nexus out too!
I so agree with this.. these two years opened myself to take as many meetings as possible (given all my constraints) and I think I've become a better person and have had some seredipitous events happen because of it!
Talk to People!
Having conversations is probably the best way to grow and evolve.
Professionally and Personally.
In the current book I'm reading, "How to Lead", this is a snippet of a conversation between the author David Rubenstein (DR) and Bill Gates (BG):
DR: When your mother first said, "I'd like you to come and have dinner with me. Warren Buffett will be here. You should meet him," you didn't seem that interested. Why was that?
BG: Warren, I thought of as somebody who bought and sold securities, which is a very zero-sum thing. That's not curing disease. It's not a cool piece of software. Looking at volume curves doesn't invent anything. I thought, given my way of looking at the world and what I wanted to figure out and do, and what he looked at, that there wouldn't be much intersection.
That's why it was shocking when I met him. He was the first person to really ask me about software and software pricing, and why wasn't IBM, with all of their strength, able to overwhelm Microsoft?
And what was going to happen in terms of how software would change the world. He asked me why you invest in certain industries and why some banks are more profitable than others. He was clearly a broad-systems thinker. It started a conversation that has been fun, and enriching—an incredible friendship that was completely unexpected."
My learnings over the years:
- Have at LEAST 2 conversations a day; if possible, one should be with a stranger.
- Don't judge a book by its cover. Similarly, don't judge people without meeting them.
- The more you meet, the better YOU become.
- Best places to accelerate conversations are in airports, aeroplanes, or any place where waiting is involved.
Do you agree?

Met the humblest Founder today…at times like these I love my job.. when he spoke about his wife..I remembered my dad and how he only spoke about my mom as his support..@saurabh thanks for making this happen…I love meeting interesting people, it helps me stay the course..
Serious truth from @thatdoggonelady I know Goans who are actively participating against the destruction of mollem, casinos at Panjim and what not, tourists just come and make judgements at their whims and fancies..while it’s the government that’s F ing the state!
If Goans are assholes, please stay away from Goa. We would rather have tourists who don't shit on us for things that are out of our hands and call us assholes.
