@OldHollowTree It SUPER-freaks me out that ZZ Top is playing videos of the dead member at their shows, and it did likewise when I would hear a local DJ playing a recording of a dead DJ EVERY MORNING. For heaven's sake leave the dead lie.

Someone who asserts this ISN'T A CONSERVATIVE. He can't bear the idea that there are people who don't want kids or feel they shouldn't have kids, and he's squalling and flailing like a 2-year-old about it. HE WANTS TO DICTATE HOW YOU LIVE. He's the enemy of individual thinkers.
When questioning the morality of an action, a very simple method is asking yourself this:
"If everybody did what I was doing, what would happen?"
If the answer is "bad things," then in most cases, it could be safely assumed the action is immoral.
So, if everybody said "I don't like kids," and chooses not to have them, what happens?
Well, humanity goes extinct, and we all die out. All of our efforts are for nothing. There's nobody to pass the torch to. All of our work is in vain. Only the most die-hard nihilist would argue that that is a good thing.
So, we can reasonably conclude then that choosing not to have children is immoral.
That's why people find it incomprehensible. When taken to its logical conclusion, the statement "I do not want to have kids" is advocating for the extinction of the human race.

And you're an 1d1ot or fanatic! Saying I don't want kids isn't saying everyone shouldn't want kids. You can't dictate my behavior.
@petrameyerx @japan_nobunaga I reacted vituperatively because the collective imbecility of the American restaurant-going public is getting to me. When I was young we did not eat hot food on a hot day! We had better sense! We ate cold sandwiches/salads. SO SIMPLE. No need to make the heat harder on workers!
