@burritodaddy46 In Naples I think we only had lunch and it was nothing to rave about. We had limited options with dog&baby, so generally had dinner back "home" in Quadrivio. We had a lovely lunch at Caffe Positano & our last dinner was at Crudo in Salerno, which was good but stingy on the wine!
@burritodaddy46 We were not fans. The lungomare is nice, our walk from where we parked the car to the lungomare, not so much! If we had just stayed near the touristy bits we'd probably have liked it more. Go to the amalfi coast if you can, if you need any tips on outside of naples let me know!
@arminspeas Italy - North has lakes (como, garda). Major cities are usually nearish the coast. Mountains pretty much everywhere, dolomites are beautiful. Don't bother with Milan. If you're going to go south, go to amalfi area, don't bother with naples. Trains are good.
If only I'd known that missing luggage was news when our suitcase didn't make it's way onto our flight back from Singapore in March 2020... the last flight back to the UK before lockdown. Think of the money I could have made selling that hot story ๐ฅ
@burritodaddy46 I'm glad I suggested he get off at Doncaster instead of Leeds then! (He had to go via King's X as Euston still isn't running I don't think)
@burritodaddy46 Rich has just reached Stockport, he arrived at Euston at 4.30. This has happened every time he has tried to travel from Euston in the past 3 years.
