@Tomoneill84@cj_garrett@henrywinter Even though it’s a different league the severity of the Southampton sanction is bound to become a yardstick for future transgressions. Just imagine if a much more serious transgression by another team is treated more leniently. There would be uproar. Interesting times
@L1minus10 I often enjoy turning the sound off. Cuts out all the over the top excitement & screeching voices. You can really look at the game calmly & just appreciate the football being played without continual distractions
@seanbwparker When I was younger you would come across quite a few people who today would be classed as bullies, many in authority. However then it was considered to be a good training experience to toughen you up, work under pressure & strive to be better. I don’t think anyone would complain
@Horatioyuletide@lembitopik@HoldenBurbage Oh I understand. Why doesn’t Justin Rowlatt & the BBC not understand by talking about climate change every time we get a few days of hot weather?
@lembitopik@HoldenBurbage I hate these people who come up with its climate not weather argument every time. However, if this is the case why does Justin Rowlatt appear on our screens every time we have a few hot days to talk about climate change. Nobody’s saying then “it’s only weather”
@HoodedClaw1974@michaelgove These people are always in electioneering mode & therefore you can’t take what they say seriously. He’ll will freeze over before you get an honest statement from one party about another
@MaryLaing1966@NickDixon I begin to think that him like Stadlen et al, relish attention so much that they are willing to sell their souls in knowledge that their outrageous diatribes will severely provoke others & get them continually noticed (& to them relevant). They would remain invisible otherwise
@MichelleDewbs Never has a deliberate & coordinated demolition job by MSM been so blatantly obvious as now. It’s almost childish. Also history shows it never works. Quite the opposite
@LeoKearse Absolutely. It happens every time. These families are got at before speaking, when at their most vulnerable, to include the no division line. Surely normality would be families wanting to establish quickly what caused this horrendous death.
@jenezmy@thesoubr@ITVNewsPolitics@Peston In the same way that if the family had said they want rioting in the street we wouldn’t say it’s ok because that’s what the family want. This is about the police & how they are being run, a big issue & not controlled by what any one family wants
@official_seany@WillKingston Look this is not about the family. It’s about the police. Unfortunately the victims family have no say in the rightful questions right now (not when we’ve all forgotten) about police conduct. Starmer would love to have it all shut down
