However good your intentions may be, and however much you may deplore what has happened on the streets of London and no doubt will happen, you need to understand that nothing good will come of being at this counter-protest.

The narrative is already decided (see pic). It's going to be the "far right" or even the "extreme right" against pro-Palestine demonstrators. You won't be described or treated as sympathetic patriots. The police will not be on your side. The authorities won't either. There will be cameras everywhere. Attendance, if you can be identified, will be used against you.

I don't think this is some January 6th-style fedsurrection, but I do think it's a very ill-advised event that will be used to justify state intervention against the right. The government is afraid of a resurgence in support for the right at this particular moment, and will use whatever ammunition is available to it to discredit and persecute the right. Even harmless scuffles will be enough, especially if they're filmed, but if real violence takes place, it will be an absolute disaster.
