This fox mum needs quiet for her cubs to settle down 🦊🐾🐾
Watch her send a second vixen out of the den - it's quite common for close family groups to share care of pups and this is most likely the dominant vixen's daughter from a previous litter - but these cubs are too young to be in 'fox creche' and this vixen is not here to help.
Instead the visiting vixen, who looks like she's nursing a litter of her own, is possibly scrounging for food.

Momen Induk Badak Jawa dan Anaknya Terekam di TN Ujung Kulon

Taman Nasional (TN) Ujung Kulon mengunggah video rekaman kamera jebak yang memperlihatkan induk Badak Jawa (Rhinoceros sondaicus) bersama anakannya, Rabu, (4/2). Video tersebut merupakan rekaman pada (29/1), pukul 22.17 WIB. Ini menjadi temuan pertama anakan Badak Jawa pada tahun 2026.

Direktur Jenderal Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam dan Ekosistem (KSDAE), Satyawan Pudyatmoko menyampaikan temuan ini merupakan indikator penting keberhasilan pengelolaan kawasan dan perlindungan Badak Jawa.

“Keberadaan induk dan anakan Badak Jawa yang terekam melalui camera trap menunjukkan habitat di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon masih terjaga dengan baik,” kata Satyawan, Rabu, (4/2).

“Selain itu, pengamanan kawasan yang kuat dan konsisten, serta dukungan kerja sama dari berbagai pihak, menjadi faktor kunci yang memungkinkan Badak Jawa berkembang biak secara alami.”

In November 2024, environmental police in Rochedo, Brazil, stumbled on an unexpected sight: thousands of orange-and-black bumblebee catfish scaling the slippery rocks behind waterfalls on the Aquidauana River. A week later, a team of Brazilian scientists arrived to document the unprecedented event, detailing their findings.

These videos provide rare insight into the lives and migrations of these little-studied catfish, the authors said. This genus of small South American fish, which inhabits the rocky bottoms of fast-flowing streams, only became known to science in 2017.
