i’ve been seeing a lot of questions about Halloween costumes, cosplay, and what is allowed for adult content creators. hopefully this video helps explain it, i’ll drop the long version below.
your first cam show is going to be quiet for a while and that's normal, here's the prep that actually matters before:
- 30 to 60 minutes poking at every dashboard button so you know the site
- eat, hydrate, clean the space, have toys and props cleaned and in reach
- read the site rules (they're all different) and write your boundaries down, don't bend for $ it's not worth it
- post about the stream on your socials
- trolls are normal, block and move on. don't let anyone move payment off site
- you're the boss of your room, warm up at your own pace, breaks are allowed
- nothing that can make someone cum is free. yes, armpits count
most models need a month before regulars show up. 🖤 patience is a virtue and in this industry, it's a necessary practice.
@emmypwayne It should work on any website if you also get the OBS virtual webcam plugin, that way you can use your OBS stream as a webcam source on browsers and don’t need to connect with stream key.
did you know you can use your phone as a webcam through OBS? great in situations where your webcam breaks, or you’re looking for a different angle.
there’s an app called “DroidCam” that you open from your phone that connects to your wifi, and then you download a plug-in to OBS to connect to your phone.
boom, wireless webcam in HD. cheaper than buying an actual HD webcam.
With the recent cyber attacks happening across multiple creator platforms, it’s important to stay aware of your data and account security. Enable 2FA. Use a unique password. Avoid clicking suspicious links. Don’t store sensitive info in DMs. Keep backup emails and recovery codes
4 of my uploads were rejected in a week😵
One for “mind control.” It was a sound-effects compilation.
I removed the flagged parts and it came back as “AI.”
I filmed every second myself🥲
So I looked into who’s really making these rules👀👇 https://t.co/Z4nBcD2Do8
Security is mentioned in our mission statement at YouPay. As a product-led tech forward company, our site was patched for the PHP vulnerability the moment the patch was released.
OnlyFans is planning to expand into financial services for creators. I’m skeptical.
A lot of independent creators have struggled to keep access to banking. Now, a platform they already use to make money could get another business opportunity out of that exclusion. OnlyFans didn't cause the debanking, but if the platform can profit from the problem, it’s fair to ask questions.
If the platform that controls your content also becomes your financial provider: Can you still receive earnings from competing platforms? Can you move your money freely to outside accounts? Could a content suspension affect your access to financial services? If you leave OnlyFans, can you keep using the financial service? What fees, data access, and account-closure rules apply?
I get why another option could be appealing, but I also see the risk of putting even more control in one relationship.
adult platforms are like, enter our halloween contest!
*content cannot contain blood, vampires, werewolves, zombies, demons with cloven hooves, tentacles, fangs, references to death or bodily harm, or anything else scary.
PSA TO PPL WITH AUTO TWEETS FROM WISHLISTS SET UP‼️
Do NOT connect any auto tweets from ANY wishlist apps. Auto tweets from third party apps flag as spam and label your account as spam too 🚩
Seeing too many accounts get labelled and/or sb because of this! My account with 12.5k has a perma sb because of this so pls RT and spread the word 💔
70% of sites use PHP, I think it would’ve been easy for them to make a post letting everyone know that they don’t use it to ease everyone’s mind! There’s no easy way for a user to know if they use PHP and my main message was in communicating who got the update done so creators would feel comfortable using those sites moving forward. I’m happy to hear Fansly was not impacted!
@bubblypussy@fansly I’m not sure if they’re built on PHP but I haven’t heard anything regarding downtime! There is a chance they aren’t built on PHP but I haven’t checked.
there have been 2 critical safety risks found in PHP, which has caused multiple adult websites to be down today. what does it mean for the creators?
if a website is down today, it’s a good thing. it means the developer team at that website has taken the website down awaiting the PHP patch. a majority of websites utilize PHP, this is not a problem for only the adult industry.
none of the websites that are down today have announced they were actually impacted by the risks associated with the PHP issues.
as of now, aside from the down time, creators should not be impacted long term.

Onlyfans being down right now is again another reminder why you should use multiple platforms… If you wake up one day and they turns the light off then what? Play the game smart 🙏🏽💰💸
OnlyFans went down today and so did we, it wasn't on accident. What caused all the downtime and should you be worried as a creator?
Two critical bugs were identified in PHP (the programming language behind around 70% of all websites, not just adult ones) which would allow cyber attacker to remotely access websites.
A fix has been released which is what caused site maintenance across the industry today. Your preferred website being down is a good thing, it means they were fixing the dangerous code.
The biggest danger to creators is that attackers and hackers WILL be looking for websites that did not patch. Over the next few weeks, it's very likely we'll see many websites hacked.
Depending on where a website stores your legal information like your legal name, email, address, and payment details, your data could be at risk if your preferred websites don't make this fix. Most of the legitimate websites have already started patching or completed their patch but there is a chance a website you utilize hasn't done the patch yet.
A quick to-do to keep yourself safe as cyber attacks start:
-Confirm with websites that have your data if they have deployed this fix or are impacted by PHP (Not all sites run on PHP)
-Run upgrades on all devices like ios, browsers and tools you use
-Run a breach scanning tool to look for your personal information https://t.co/fHES3RbtK9 has one
-Change your passwords and don't use the same passwords on every website
-Turn on 2fa everywhere that you can
-Ignore any emails telling you to install things or verify your account if you can't confirm it's legitimate
