Lesbian goth vampire slut forced onto a day schedule to survive crumbling America as an Android app dev. Pluviophile, Nyctophile & Teratophile. DMs OK. She/Her
@yuuietv Just got back, it was fun! Not every plot device was a 10/10, but if you're into watching a cute blonde kick the piss out of a bunch of misogynistic assholes, it delivers, repeatedly. Went with a friend who doesn't usually "do superhero movies" and she had a good time too!
@pinkchyu .........Okay you finally got me with one of these "this or that" questions. This is so mean.
Because clearly I cannot *not* pick the goth girl.
But I equally cannot *not* pick the castle.
...Does she get to pick? I pick her, she picks the castle? Together we get both? 🤔
@ClaireMax I'd recognize Xena pieces anywhere!
... Definitely not because I've spent way too much time watching the show, no- well- okay maybe- but...!
@Sufimindtricks2@viotubing I swear every time she ends up in the new cycle she looks a little less human. What the heck has she even done to herself? Dx Insane levels of Botox and fillers?
@AustenMarieTV Yeah, it can still be plenty fun to draw stuff you're not "into" into.
Also ahahahaha the number of bingos I too have on this sheet... 😅
@stevanzetti Do we have a better format available? Or is this a case of, it sucks but it's the best we've got?
(I prefer it over .doc types currently when sharing documents because it keeps weird middle managers from 'enhancing' my resume. Otherwise a lot of my personal notes & stuff are .md)
@FairlightEx@MinEffortLive Plus, 'keep a large object between yourself and the person trying to harm you' is an effective strategy in most self-defense encounters. The fact that it works here just seems... realistic.
@dimenpsyonal@Eauldane Yeah, this is why Americans are upset though—our govt subsidizes the hecc out of fossil fuel consumption. We're used to it being way cheaper, but the subsidies can't keep up with the record prices anymore.
@Pokket 💯, that's $64,000 / yr, or $5,300 / mo (before taxes, if invested and withdrawing only gains), plenty to cover almost all day-to-day bills without needing to work. I'll take being called ugly for the chance to check out of today's job market entirely, & fix shit on my own time.
@michaelmiraflor I suppose survivor bias affects all of these, as you can fail out of being a doctor too, but at least the systems there *want* you to become a doctor. Social media platforms keep moving away from the idea of surfacing new talent in favor of the media empire they already control.
@michaelmiraflor Yeah, this makes sense. We don't really glorify teachers or medical professionals the way we do with social media personalities. Plus you basically can't get paid well as a teacher anymore, and while YT/TT is a gamble the biggest successes are given the airtime, skewing outlooks.
@cm0102plays@CassidyConwayUK@omgchomp People who are into the "villain aesthetic" love the hecc out of them. I wouldn't say they make many tasks easier, most marginally more difficult, but they're useful as permanent tape/plastic breakers, and feel really good for scritchies and head massages.
@Schezarade@omgchomp ✅ Mounted a hard truck bed cover
✅ Counted change on a flat surface
✅ Done "spring cleaning"
✅ Moved houses (3x, they're *great*
for breaking packing tape)
✅ Soldered microelectronics (they work like tweezers!)
It's mostly just about finding new ways to use your fingers.
@Schezarade@omgchomp Mine are a little bit shorter, but not falsies so no chance of taking them off. I have successfully
✅ Typed on a keyboard (slows me down ~20%, mechanical KBs work best)
✅ Changed a tire
✅ Repaired a fence (2x)
✅ Washed dishes (w/e the dishwasher can't do)
✅ Built a catapult
@ws_cun@KarolusWangus On the knife, and then clip the TRex in the ankle every time it walks past the entrance. As long as the knife can break the skin, you can let infection take care of the rest.
