For those of you who are migrating over to BlueSky, I do have an account on there. Given the direction Twitter is heading toward, I'm going to be posting there from here on out.
@primeben100 Plagiarism is a big part of it but there are other things I plan to address that are related. I'm not calling this "A Measured Response" for nothing.
I am currently over sixty five pages into the script so far and I'm not done. My research keeps leading me down rabbit holes and Lily can't help but complicate things by lying and issuing even more DMCA claims.
Tonight @ 6:00 PM CST / 7 PM EST I will be continuing my PokeRouge run on Twitch. What sort of trials and tribulations shall we face on this run? Find out then!
Fellow online travelers, I would like to ask you all for a favor. I'm currently trying to document all instances of Lily Orchard's plagiarism for a future project but I know I'm bound to miss a lot. If you know of any cases of Lily plagiarizing something, please let me know.
Interesting. I covered Lily in 2017 because she was performing a victory lap over baiting someone into making a DMCA takedown against her. Now, here Lily is filing a takedown against someone else. So, let's get a Glass of Water while we look into this. 🧵[1/13]
Lily Orchard has struck down five videos off my channel, and this ask makes it very clear she is going to reach out to anyone I have ever discussed to further copyright strike my channel in order to destroy it.
@TeamYouTube , this to me looks like deliberate abuse of the system.
@GeraldNellson Fortunately I still have my copies of those videos. Those records won't be completely lost to time no matter how convenient it would be for Lily.
And only seemed to stop doing so after a big enough content creator (that she happened to have "taken inspiration" from) completely shifted the YouTube ecosystem regarding plagiarism. Not that she'd correct her past wrongs, she would rather just delete them instead. [12/13]
