Impressive, you've cited a story where you failed understand the entire point. Because it quite literally not about powescaling.

This is the Villian who they believe wouldn't beg for his life. Homelander who stare at himself for who knows long. After nearly escaping getting powers taken away. He's always been afraid but he was just stronger then anybody else.
The humiliation of the villain is a sign of sadism from the culture that savors it.
Homelander is truly a villain but he was used to pain and suffering and was filled with rage. He would not have begged and pleaded for life. The show's portrayal is utterly inconsistent with how people like him behave.
It's a sadistic fantasy that betrays the sadistic convictions of the writers. They sought to humiliate the villain, but Homelander isn't real and they are. Ironically, in the end, it is the showrunners themselves who end up being the show's true villains.
@SadFuneralClown @oflifeandwild This isn't entirely right... We men often enjoy violence, even suffering it.
And some women also enjoy it...
But whether or not that is good is another problem.
Adolf Hitler shot himself the moment he knew he couldn't win his war. The Boys has several issues writing wise but they portrayed what happens when a narcissist loses all power pretty well.
Hasn't the impression that he's just a bully. Who abuse his power because nobody stronger. Why wouldnt this be exactly what would be expected if he lost his powers.

You do realize the saying the joke is ruined. Because it's supposed to be an exaggeration right? A political language always out itself. Modern day politics isn't what you're upset about. You're mad they dare to criticize Trump in ways you disagree.
Maybe don’t sabotage your entire show for the sake of a quick shower argument about current year politics that nobody’s gonna care about in five years time
I will bring this argument up a million times
Eve knew Mark was heading into a war, knew the world was falling apart and still let it happen without protection then made a unilateral decision about his child without a single conversation.
Now look at Percy and Vex'ahlia, Death around every corner every single day and Vex said it herself they needed to be careful because bringing a child into that chaos was not an option. They cracked multiple times and not one pregnancy, that is two mature people who understood that love and responsibility must exist at the same time.

Well, no. It's less about the abortion, it's more so Invincible 'fans' demonizing a college kid who made a rushed, paranoid decision while idolizing a genocidal rapist who also killed children.
This debate only succeeds in making folks take this serious topic less seriously.
to earth is daunting.
I could go into a further tangent but suffice to say. This post doesn't engage with the substance of the show. Merely using the show as an opportunity to speak authoritatively without evidence.
Fascinating that on one hand. This post treats for decision as something she is an emotionally devastated. Operates off of this notion that abortion is just something to do. When in the very show Eve losing her powers. So her ability to defend herself if the invasion came-
The abortion debate is hiting the leftards pretty hard and I can explain why.
Initially abortion was sold as something "safe legal and rare" , but in recent times women have convinced themselves that abortion is just another counterceptive method.
Even worse they have further gaslit themselves to believe that most men are fine with it, and they don't care at all or at least shouldn't care.
Then reality hits them like a wall and find out that no, actually, allot of men find women who had an abortion, unapealing and not worthy of romantic pursuit.
Instead of saying "ok well maybe those men aren't for me" they just cannot stand to cope with reality, they don't think their original view was wrong, instead they think those men are wrong and need re-education.
They refuse the "no means no" attitude that they preach to others and instead if they could they would FORCE those men to pick a woman that had abortions because in their mind, men do not have a right for preferences or a right to chose even when it comes to what partner they want in life.
This show is so ass. Her superpower is that she can reconstruction atoms. Despite being able to create literally anything to provide for a baby including an artificial womb or robot, she kills the kid.
I'd assume it was written by some misogynic chud if I knew nothing else.
I love this meme because the top isn't mocking whatsoever. It just telling people who obsessively shit of James Gunn DC movies. Believing it'll bring back the Snyderverse. It won't move on.
#RestoreTheSnyderVerse#ReleaseTheAyerCut
I don't know irl too many DC fans who enjoyed new Superman more than Man of Steel. Actually, only one
But I have the feeling that for most people I met on X, their love for this movie is only as strong as their hatered towards Zack's fans
Ive seen no one debate this topic. The only proof have of this discourse is a meme. Mocking the idea that Thragg could brute force his way through infinity.
@netrusila_maxim@krazyjoe Gunn supports who mocked the death of James Gunn daughter sound completely made up. For one you make it sound like it something James Gunn fans support collectively. Which they wouldn't. Or Sound like something that other James Gunn fans would call out too.
