After fall of Afghanistan government, Taliban acquired two types of military personnel carriers. The first type is the Ranger, all of which have become worn out because the last time NATO provided these vehicles to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces was in 2011, and since then, no further supplies were made. The second type is the Humvee, the majority of which have developed technical issues in recent years. Repairing them has been difficult for the Taliban due to a lack of spare parts and the high consumption of oil, causing many of them to become inoperable
It is worth noting that this “said contact” could also be facilitating the issuance of passports to these individuals. However, a more relevant question arises: why is there a sudden push to encourage migration to #Afghanistan?
This could indicate weakening local motivation to join the Taliban, compelling them to recruit fighters from neighbouring countries to bolster their ranks. Another consideration is the issue of desertion within the Taliban’s forces, which may further amplify their need for external reinforcements.
On a broader level, this strategy might also be aimed at countering the growing number of Tajik fighters aligned with ISKP, whose influence has expanded significantly in recent years. By recruiting foreign fighters, the Taliban may be seeking to address this emerging threat.
An alternative perspective suggests that these fighters are being prepared through additional training for an unforeseen future conflict. It is also important to note that Jamaat Ansarullah, often referred to as the “Tajik Taliban,” is closely aligned with the Kandahari faction of the Taliban. This alignment could serve to strengthen the Kandahari faction’s ranks within the wider Taliban structure, consolidating their influence both locally and regionally.
Ansarullah, or Tajik Taliban, currently providing contacts details for migrating to Afghanistan and join the movement through one of their most active channels. It also warns people to solely rely on the said contact for migrating.
Not merged, but pro-ISKP Mubarezeen Media has become third in place after official Al-Azaim Foundation and Al-Hadeed Media.
Today, Mubarezeen Media has announced the production of a new series “ارزونه” focused on local and international topics as interpreted by ISKP.

A glimmer of hope for the ancient #Buddhist city of #MesAynak#Afghanistan?
While I distrust anything the #Taliban says, it appears that international pressure to save Mes Aynak is working.
While underground #mining is very dangerous and could still damage/destroy the site, it seems there is some good news in this story even the mention of making Mes Aynak a #tourist destination, however naïve that might be, it was always my hope that Mes Aynak could be seen by tourists like #Bamiyan.
