I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.

I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.

My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.

Tom DeLonge estuvo presente en la SDCC junto con el elenco y los productores de 'Breaking Bear' la nueva serie animada para adultos de Tubi.

El pasado Jueves Josh Horowitz (moderador), Chris Diamantopoulos (voz), Stan Spry (productor ejecutivo), Tom DeLonge (productor ejecutivo), Adam Lewinson (Director de Contenidos de Tubi) y Chris Parnell (voz) estuvieron presentes en la Comic-Con de San Diego 2026 para hablar más de esta serie animada que ayer (Viernes 24 de julio) se estrenó con 2 episodios, mientras que los 6 restantes se estrenarán el Viernes 31 de julio.

Durante el panel, el elenco y el equipo creativo desvelaron los entresijos de la creación de la serie de comedia animada original de Tubi, compartiendo historias entre camerinos sobre el desarrollo de sus personajes y la aceptación del humor descaradamente salvaje e inapropiado del programa. Tom, Parnell y Diamantopoulos elogiaron "Breaking Bear" por su enfoque sin límites de la comedia, diciendo que la serie traspasa los límites en cada momento con su visión descaradamente escandalosa de los eventos de actualidad, diciendo que los fanáticos de las comedias animadas irreverentes para adultos como Padre de familia y South Park apreciarán hasta dónde llega este programa... y enfatizaron que definitivamente no es una caricatura apta para niños.

También revelaron una línea exclusiva de merchandising incluyendo el Peluche de lujo de Blair Bear (personaje con la voz de Sarah Michelle Gellar) que lo exhibieron en el escenario durante el panel.

El reparto de voces está encabezado por el ganador del Oscar Brendan Fraser (La ballena), ganadora del Emmy Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), ganadora del Emmy Annie murphy (Schitt’s Creek), Elizabeth Hurley (Los Reales) y nominado al Tony Josh Gad (Frozen).
