The plane on April 14 flew to #Türkiye without them. Can “#Yerevan 2023" repeat "#Munich-1972"?

◾️After yesterday's #flag burning incident in Yerevan, the Azerbaijani weightlifting team decided not to take part in the #European Weightlifting Championships, which are taking place these days in #Armenia.

◾️Tickets for the #Yerevan-#Antalya flight were booked for our team. At 02.55 am, the members of our team were supposed to fly to Antalya & then to #Baku.

What happened next?
◾️The Armenians, under the pretext of "security", did not let our #team out of the hotel. In fact, they are holding our #national team hostage after their refusal to participate in competitions. All this is happening after the #burning of the Azerbaijani flag at the event, which was personally inaugurated by PM #Pashinyan & attended by the presidents of the World & European Weightlifting Federations.

◾️What's next? Is "Munich -1972" going to be staged in Yerevan? Recall that in that year there was a #terrorist attack at the Munich Olympics, committed by members of the terrorist Palestinian organisation Black September, the victims of which were 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team (4 coaches, 5 competitors & two judges) & one West German #policeman. Given the traditions of Armenian terrorism & the latest #video of mistreatment of the Azerbaijani prisoner of war, who was severely beaten in Armenia, urgent measures must be taken to release our team #CaliberAz
