Truth be told, if Kenya asked to establish a military base or an Ebola research facility in the United States, the request would almost certainly face intense scrutiny and resistance. Yet our leaders continue to sign agreements that allow foreign military presence and sensitive health facilities on Kenyan soil without meaningful public participation.
Kenyans have a right to ask tough questions. What safeguards are in place? What benefits accrue to ordinary citizens? Who bears responsibility if things go wrong? National sovereignty should never be treated as a bargaining chip.
Any facility handling dangerous pathogens must operate under the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and public oversight. Citizens are justified in demanding answers before decisions with long term security and public health implications are made on their behalf.
@mfwest2006@NyakundiReport I had absa Premier account paying 3500 every month in the name of service fee but they gave out my bank details to scammers before I even finished creating the account.
@AbsaKenya
The convoy of General Charles Muriu Kahariri moving with 58 vehicles while ordinary Kenyans are struggling with the cost of living raises serious questions about priorities and accountability.
Public resources are not personal property. Leadership should reflect restraint, efficiency, and solidarity with citizens, not displays of excess funded by taxpayers.
If hospitals lack medicine, schools lack books, and young people lack jobs, then government officials must also be ready to justify every shilling spent on luxury convoys and state displays.
Tell me how this is not abuse of office and reckless wastage of public resources.
32 military and police vehicles escorting one Kenyan politician while ordinary citizens struggle with insecurity, unemployment, poor hospitals, and broken roads.
Since when did public servants become kings? Even the President of the United States rarely moves with such exaggerated display of force.
Taxpayers are funding luxury convoys while wananchi are told there is “no money” for essential services. State security agencies are meant to protect the nation, not to stage political parades and intimidate citizens.
This culture of excess, entitlement, and misuse of public resources must be questioned.
