Unfortunately, all IOS software is designed to grow in size and resource use…. even when 99% of us could not care less and just want updated security. Apple also charges more than anyone for minuscule amounts of ram/ssd, so many don’t preload at purchase. The OS upgrade then pressures the systems scarce resources, essentially forcing us to upgrade our devices prior to an actual performance need. It’s an evil, greedy, deceitful tactic, but still the cream of the crap. - From my iPhone.

No, a child would normally arrive to school clothed. Tech and learning materials should be covered imho though. Don’t you want highly educated citizens who will improve society over time? Our bootstrap view of education hasn’t helped us climb in rankings near the same rate as other countries who have a more collective good attitude.
So many kids are in a cycle of poverty, that providing quality, equal opportunity education, is one of the best returns on society’s investment to help them achieve more in the future.
