@liotier To the HOT team, it's hard to deny HOT's policy to expand to non-humanitarian mapping, take-over of OSM. A USA based NGO, failed to build self-sustainable mapping communities in Africa, using financial power and imperialistic policies. Growing discontent in OSM and Africa.

Ending the year with a positive note. First map for operational support delivered to Uganda Police Force. Using #QGIS and #OSM to it's full power. Community maps for a good community support service. @PoliceUg@ugandaupf@qgis@openstreetmap
No tweets yet in 2019. Time for a round up. Lots of mapping & wiki volunteer work on #OpenStreetMap - #QGIS community apps - new ideas. But most of all, looking for a job or income generating activities to finance all this for free work. Leads & tips welcome.

@AfiegoUg@nemaug Seems I am not the only being concerned and requesting more time to have the ESIA reviewed. So far conclusion: very poor mitigation measures in all aspects. #Tilenga#OilInUganda
With my 30 years of international experience as consultant, project manager and engineer in chemical and oil & gas industry reviewed 4500 pages of the #Tilenga ESIA: 20 days, about 250 pages per day. But where to send it ? @nemaug @Totaluganda @PAU_Uganda
Opportunity to comment ESIA for the #Tilenga project ends tomorrow.
My experience so far: bad points for @nemaug. Provisions to comment are very poor, missing documents / broken links https://t.co/chIrtMjLsB. @Totaluganda Have a big review report, where to send ? @PAU_Uganda
