If you keep doing things and keep failing at them, here’s a way out.
I call this the copy-paste method to success - and if you apply it properly, it almost guarantees results.
But before I explain how to use it, let me explain why it works.
Some years ago, I wrote an article that went very viral. It even made the news and got into most blogs.
Four years later, I saw the same article go viral again; only this time, I didn’t post it. Someone had lifted it word for word, passed it off as her own, and it blew up all over again.
That was when it hit me:
We may not always know why what works works but whatever makes it work is baked in, and it keeps working no matter who runs it.
Here’s proof.
Have you heard of the Samwer brothers - Oliver, Marc, and Alexander Samwer?
They’re German entrepreneurs best known for copying successful U.S. startups and aggressively scaling them in Europe and emerging markets.
They copied eBay, called it Alando, and sold it to eBay for tens of millions of dollars within about 100 days.
They copied Zappos, called it Zalando, and grew it into a company worth over $5 billion.
They copied Groupon with CityDeal and sold it back to Groupon for around $170 million.
They cloned Amazon’s e-commerce model in Asia and later sold the business to Alibaba for close to $1 billion.
Their method was brutally simple:
They Find what already works. Then Copy it. And Execute hard.
Now apply the same logic to your own life.
Find the most successful person in your environment: someone whose results you respect and copy and paste their habits, decisions, and path.
If you stay on that path long enough, success becomes a matter of when, not if.
Because what works, works - every time; if you give it enough effort and stay on it long enough for it to work.
PS: but “What if what I’m copying isn’t my passion?” You may ask.
Well, my own passion is playing FIFA on a PS5 all day. I’m smart enough to know that when passion isn’t paying the bills, the next best option is to follow a proven path.
Passion can come later. Results come first.
P.S.S: Don’t be shy, ashamed - or feel bad about copying others, this is real life. There is no award for creativity. What matters is if you succeed or not.
To understand why there is always a queer person in every Netflix movie - read up on: “Overton window”.
Closing the Overton Window is how the elites get the masses to think in a certain way.
You, your parents, spouse, kids and future kids are most likely going to come under the influence of this window at some point. So it is important you know how it works so you can recognize it.
If you learn about it, heck you could even engineer your own little Overton Window yourself
There are only two ways to be make money and take care of those you love.
1. Find a bank and rob (the logistics and risk associated with this makes it absolutely useless)
Or the better & safer way....
2. Find something and sell. Don't just sell it, sell it at a massive scale.
Any other thing anyone tells you is the path to riches is you about to get scammed
as a business owner; pay yourself a salary
no matter how much you make in a month, keep your salary fixed.
everything else goes into savings
Everything!
Do the only one thing that will push everything else into place. Everything in life has the one thing that pushes everything in place.
In weightloss it is calorie deficit
With money it is selling a product or services to as much people as possible.
You find what your one thing is, and you do it like a robot with a lot of effort over time.
It is not always positive
Things don’t always go as planned
You can start the business and it will fail…you can run the ad and it won’t work:
But everyone that makes it big goes through this, the difference between them and everyone else is T X E
Time & effort.
They stayed on it and gave it a strong push longer than the average person would
Nothing keeps money away like constantly worrying that you don't have it -
- the worry keep you scared from doing anything
- when you do something it is out of desperation, and desperate decisions usually fail.
- you lose joy, and a sad person has no drive.
Practise gratitude. There are things in your life you should be grateful for. dwell on them till you sort your financial issues.
