ALERT: This is to inform the public that the personal X (Twitter) account of Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has been hijacked by unknown people. He is currently not in control of that account and anything that may be posted there. Efforts to try and recover it are ongoing.
Some Historical members of NRA/NRM who have always had political issues with their boss President Museveni (some with silent ambitions to replace him), but fear to face him head on because of protecting their bread, prefer to turn General Muhoozi Kainerugaba into a perpetual punching bag as a way of hitting at the president indirectly. By doing so, they unknowingly provoked a revolution and made Gen MK a real factor (ensonga).
Otafire has been the leader of this clique and he has provoked our Generation enough. A serving Minister cannot utter such nonsense and Mzee thinks we shall just be happy about it and keep quiet. Why doesn’t Otafiire resign his cabinet position if he thinks the Government of President Museveni that he serves kills people? Pure hypocrisy & cheap blackmail!
When Gen MK chose to get out and push back against these serial coordinated attacks & schemes against him, they started screaming! We shall not accept this!
Suddenly, the people who always mock our fight against abductions are decrying the very abductions they have always defended and christened 'arrests'. They will soon have lawyers filing Habeas Corpus and other applications for their rights to be upheld. All of a sudden, they will remember that there is a document called the Constitution with guarantees of liberty and fair trials.
EVERYONE eventually realises that they need to or needed to have fought for the rule of law. The things we say every day about good governance, human rights, and the rule of law are not mere academic concepts. They're like breath - all of us need them to live and thrive. Sadly, many people learn this when it is too late!
Two murders. One week. Same pattern: women killed in their own homes.
The killings of Diana Namulinde (Diana Skyz) in Kyanja and UCU Dean of Students Pamela Tumwebaze in Seeta are not isolated “tragic incidents.” They signal a worrying trend: deadly violence reaching people where they should be safest at home.
If homes are no longer safe, then community security is failing. These cases expose gaps in urban safety, policing, and neighborhood vigilance, and point to the growing vulnerability of women to targeted attacks.
Hard questions we must confront:
How are assailants accessing secured residential areas?
What is the state of community policing and neighborhood watch?
Are police response times and investigations adequate?
Why does violent crime continue to rise with little deterrence?
When people fear their own homes, everyday security is breaking down. The public deserves answers and visible action.
What do you think is going wrong in our neighborhoods, and why is violent crime rising?

My brother Baryomunsi & the Commander Muhoozi are busy on their phones, throwing words like grenades. Enough of this drama! For Uganda's peace & stability, I am offering myself to mediate between the two, let's sit down, facts only, no egos. Let's end the noise now.
