@peter93250577 The problem is that he wanted to change choice of items he usually steals, this man only steals nyash successfully not laptop & bag. 😁😁😁
Some Ugandans don’t know that if you’re travelling with money (cash) above a certain amount you simply have to declare it at the airport for clearance. If found with it, Airport staff only have to ask you to declare it, not to take it. On the night of 12th July some staff at Entebbe Airport took a friend’s dollars. Report yourself and refund it before we expose you.
On 31 July 2026, I completed 47 years of military service to my country, a journey I undertook with dedication, commitment, and love for Uganda.
47 years in uniform. 47 years of service to Uganda.
As I close this chapter, I do so with deep gratitude to God, my comrades, the UPDF and the people of Uganda for the privilege to serve.
A lifetime in service. A country forever in my heart. 🇺🇬
Dear Mr. President,
Thank you for writing against the terrible, barbaric act of torture again, as you did in 2017 when many people were being tortured at the infamous Nalufenya detention center.
Just in case you didn’t know, let me join many other Ugandans to bring it to your attention that so many more people have been tortured since then.
I will list some of them but let me start with Sam Mugumya who was disappeared by security operatives a year ago and has never been released or charged in any court of law even when the courts ordered the state to investigate this matter. I also interviewed his 83 year old mother Ednansi Katungwesi who appealed to you to intervene and ensure that her son is taken to prison where she can visit him and ascertain that he is alive, if he committed any crime.
Recently, a video of him surfaced and he has been visibly subjected to torture and inhumane treatment. He was tortured even worse than Nuwagaba (I say that because I interviewed Nuwagaba in 2024) and if Mugumya isn’t released to get the same treatment you offered to Nuwagaba, I am afraid he won’t survive.
Many other Ugandans have been abducted and disappeared and held incommunicado and tortured. The reason suspects are not arrested in accordance with the law and held in gazetted detention is to torture them. Some of those that have been lucky to make it out have told this harrowing tales. Some haven’t been lucky because they have not been seen again for 7,6,5 years. As we speak, countless Ugandans are still held incommunicado including two very young people Christopher Gody (King Zale) and 18 year old William Baliza.
Then there are others whose torture hasn’t even been hidden. Your son the CDF, has publicized it, e.g Eddie Mutwe, Erias Lukwago, etc.
Just in case these had not been brought to your attention, I and many other Ugandans are bringing them to your attention.
Otherwise Ugandans may think you only care about the torture of Nuwagaba who comes from Kiruhura where you also come from and not the plight of so many other parents like the 83 year old mother of Sam Mugumya and of these many other Ugandans that have been tortured.
Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.
Mr President,
I have read with interest the part where you write: “Coming back to torture, let alone maiming, these are immoral, counter-revolutionary, not strategic and not necessary for we the freedom fighters.
In the last 56 years I have been fighting, I have never tortured, or ordered anybody to torture, an opponent…”
Since it is not your method, could you please establish who kidnapped Sam Mugumya over a year ago without any fair hearing in court and tortured him like this? And where is he? With action, make the country believe that you don’t stand for this. Thank you.
#FreeSamMugumya
@emunduga@GabrielBuule Honestly there so many oppressed banyankole and I think generalization and tribalism has caused you guys to think you are the only ones suffering 💀💀💀💀lol
If we were serious as citizens, especially those of us who believe in the cause, Dr. Kizza Besigye has championed for years. We would mobilize, go to Mulago in numbers, and ensure he is transferred to a hospital of his family's choice and actually offer him security ourselves. How can he be secured by those who wish him dead?
Instead, we remain silent.
The truth is, we're cowards. Myself included. 😭
I finally have the courage to talk about my friend @SamMugumya ! When his video was sent to me in the morning, I didn’t know what to make of it! I was completely broken! Being broken it seems is now my new lifestyle! It’s all bad news after bad news! 💔
For a year, the state denied holding him. Today, the horrific truth got out. Mugumya is emaciated, in deep distress, and cannot stand or walk on his own. They have reduced a vibrant fighter to a walking frame.
What they have done to my Mugumya is a crime against humanity. My heart bleeds😭
Museveni this is too much pain that you are causing us! This is too much torture! This is extreme! Please stop!
@DoreenNyanjura@kizzabesigye1@EriasLukwago One thing I'm desperate to know, is what food does KB eat such that we make it a national cake. We might never see a solid individual like him again. What a man!
Since he is now representing himself, Dr. @kizzabesigye1 has asked court to allow him to be taken to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, so he can personally effect service of the court summons.
Lukwago is in Luzira paying dearly, all for merely saying he would serve the “untouchable first son,” descendant of the Bachwezi, and Beyoncé’s crush, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba!
The question is: Can Muhoozi stand toe-toe with Besigye, man to man?
The entire State is scared and on edge because of one unarmed man in chains!
Long live KB!
