🚨ATTENTION ‼️‼️

A GateWay Bus, with number plate UAP 754U is in a severe DMC.

I bought a ticket then boarded a while after from Namayiba park, on 6th Dec 2024 (little did i know the condition of the bus that would transport us).

I was heading for a Marathon in Gulu, the bus left Kampala at 08:00pm only to reach Iganga at 1:00am where it broke down from.
& we were stuck here till 3am as they repaired, replaced a tyre.

I tried switching buses but all in vain, it was a literal nightmare.
This bus uses the route, (K’la - Iganga - Palissa - Soroti - Dokolo - Lira - Gulu).

Other efficient buses that use the same route reach Gulu by 5am, 6am latest.

Marathon started at 7am, I have missed the marathon💔😞, it’s approaching 9am & we haven’t arrived at our final destination.

#RoadSafety first ! @PoliceUg look into this matter or one day 40+ lives shall be lost within minutes (mark this).
