The outgoing Rugarama Hospital Board (2022–2026) is set to hand over office to a newly appointed board after completing its four-year term of service.

The handover and induction ceremony is taking place at Rugarama Hospital in Kabale Municipality, where the incoming board is being officially received and commissioned to lead the hospital for the next four years.

The function is being presided over by Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, who is officiating the transition and inducting the new board into office.

History: Started by Bishop Festo Kivengyere(second Diocesan Bishop of Kigezi)as Health center 2 in 1983.
& in 2003 elevated to Health center 3 ,2004 promoted to Health center 4,2008 obtained Hospital status.
In 2013 R.H started a Nursing school & it's training Mid wives, nurses.
