@potion_brew Hmm I'm pretty new to the game and have only reached as high as level 80 in Shadowbringers but my favourite so far has gotta be reaper or gunbreaker
@MightyKeef Yeah great game the create a hero mode is super fun trying to minmax friendship with the best players to get the highest stats on your oc is so fun
@MissPookems The witcher 3
Games are about gameplay not about story your story could be the greatest piece of writing of all time but if your gameplay sucks I don't want to play it that's how I feel about Witcher
@gbvs_official Id was announced 3 months ago and he releases in 2 months how do these characters keep taking so damn long 5 months for one character is ridiculous
@GameXverse I would recommend it because the dungeons and classes are cinematic and cool but it's hard to recommend because of the 300+ quest msq that's required to get to the good part
This is the last thing I am going to say about GTA6 and then I am done cause the Rockstar cock gobblers are unbearably stupid.
I am not going to buy it on principle. Yes my finances are not the best but I could scrounge up the money for it in a few months, that is not the issue.
The issue is the precendent that they are setting with the price increase and the other horrendous monetization strategies that Rockstar has employed and will employ through out this games life cycle. Which, if successful, is going to spill over into other big publishers who already do some of what Rockstar is doing now. Things we all hate that they do, yet keeps getting worse because there is this large enough percentage of people who will just throw money at a game because of the title without care or thought as to what that will do to the industry as a whole.
Yes, Rockstar needs to make money. We all know this, stop saying it because it's a completely asinine statement to make because they dont need to jack the price of the game up to $80 and they certainly dont need to hide what should be base game content behind an extra $20. Not to mention the $8 subscription that very few people have mentioned. What does that $8 get you? No idea but it is there.
Add on the fact that we know they're going to game GTA Online the same way they did 5 where if you want any of the cool stuff it's going to cost an obscene amount of in game money. Sure you can spend forty hours grinding to get whatever cool vehicle they dropped that month OR you can simply spend $10 and have it in 30 seconds. It's how they managed to make billions off of shark cards and it's a fact they're going to do the same shit with 6. It's a proven model, they know it, we know it, and yet still they are pricing the base game higher with day 1 dlc.
The worst part though, are the people rabidly defending this because it's GTA. You wanna buy the game and dont give a shit about the predatory monitization? Fine. It's when you get the people crowing about it and calling everyone else poor or mocking people who are principled enough to not buy it because of those predatory monitization practices that they become insufferable POSs.
It's shame because I liked GTA Online in 5. Up until it became an obscene grind to get anything cool that came out, a grind that was plagued by modders and grew increasingly tedious to get anything done as time went on. Like I shouldn't have to game the net code to get an empty public lobby so that me and my three friends can complete our business side missions to not have my shipments nuked by some shit head who doesn't even care about the money on a hover bike with a missile launcher.
Online only became fun again when a couple friends of mine paid for mods for themselves simply to give themselves money to avoid the tedium of the grind and by extension made the game fun for me too. I realized that I was done with GTA Online shortly after that because if it requires either a deep wallet or obscene amounts of time to get any of the cool stuff that comes out, then it's not worth playing and it's not designed to be fun. It's designed to make money in the worst ways possible.
What's the solution? Dont buy the game. Dont let Rockstar make the money they want to make. It needs to be a spectacular failure so that all the rest of them wont try to follow in their footsteps. Because if Rockstar crashes and burns, it would be the single largest blow to the increasingly disgusting monetization practices that big publishers have been pushing for the last several years.
@BCTheTruthl The value of GTA 6 comes from it's gameplay of which we have never been shown putting up a $100 pre order to a game we haven't seen it some ubisoft AC shadows shit
@froaklies Yup seemingly gta 6 gets some kind of pass for not showing gameplay, putting pre orders up before gameplay, being $100 for the actual real experience and locking 5 shops already in the base game for a $20 upgrade crazy world we live in
@johnsmitchzoo4@ShortDicNigga He is wrong because while $60 then is $85 now the average income hasn't gone up relative to the price so that $60 is worth the same to the people who have jobs as it did then
@rcoyfppt@Vinnycutefun Because no game should cost a billion not even close cyberpunk one of gamings biggest open world RPGs didn't even cost half a billion including the dlc and all the updates no way GTA 6 is worth a bil
