We are hiring! Come and work with us from aberrant mRNA translation to innovative treatment opportunities. #agamilab#Bioinformatics#NKI https://t.co/1gBXwmaKXX
It has been a long journey since we first uncovered defective translation in cancer upon amino acid shortage in 2019 and today where we have been finally able to target cancer cells by adoptive T cell therapy against those aberrant peptides.
Hopefully more T cell Receptor will be identified and more clinical applications will follow. A big thanks to the all Agami Lab and to our collaborators and fundings that have been essential to achieve this work. @JOlweus@oncodeinstitute@NKI_nl
We are happy to announce that our group is among the three groups from the @NKI_nl that will receive the prestigious @ERC_Research Advanced Grant! This grant will support our goal of detecting and exploiting changes in the protein landscape of cancer.

Congratulations to @abhipataskar42 for being awarded the highly prestigious annual AvL prize for the most talented young researcher of the NKI. We are all very proud👏
We are excited to share our recent review published fresh in Molecular Cell. It highlights recent advance on various protein diversification events by mRNA translation in cancer. #cancer#molecularcell#AcademicTwitter#mRNAtranslation#Cell

How well do we understand the complexity of the transcriptome? in our new study (@AgamiLab, @alkan_ferhat, @liamfaller, and more), we uncover an unexpected function of cleavage and polyadenylation, which generates thousands of novel uncapped mRNA isoforms!

We are very happy to share our recent paper published in Nature. We show that IFN-signaling associated Trp depletion leads to a new class of antigens, i.e Substitutants. Thank you @abhipataskar42@Jchmpg@JOlweus@BarbMarte@michal_bassani and others.
We have a postdoc position in bioinformatics at our group at NKI, Amsterdam. Please have a look for more details #nki#oncology#Bioinformatics
