@GrumpyOldLab@DailyMail It would make no difference. Many drivers have passed their test, but they have no idea how to drive (you know this). Many have insurance, pay registration, yet break the law every single journey. We all do. Speed limit me all you like, Im still faster and 100% legal on my bike.
@ian4downton I think the point was that expensive stuff like running the country, the roads, the schools, defence, offence, the NHS was shared across all it’s citizens. Not just some of them.
@Normanjam67 Food banks exist because food banks exist. Enforcing drug law and banning betting would do far more to reduce their need than benefits ever could.
@UU_Ess_Pee When you pay money into a bank, it doesn’t put it in a pot. NI is exactly the same and no amount of money-grubbing will change that. People literally pay in more to get their old age pension and those who don’t pay in dont get a pension.
