No exagero si digo que lo de Jacaerys Velaryon y Vermax entra directo al nivel de las muertes más dolorosas de toda la franquicia.

Al igual que nos pasó con Ned Stark, cuando Jace sale del agua tu cerebro se aferra a una falsa esperanza y se convence de que aún puede haber un rescate o que quizá lo tomen como rehén, sobre todo porque es alguien importante y jinete de dragón.

Entonces llegan los tres flechazos seguidos, sin pausa, uno detrás de otro, cada uno más letal que el anterior, y en ese instante la esperanza desaparece de golpe.

Pero lo que realmente me hace poner esta escena en la cima de mis traumas cinematográficos es lo que vino antes.

Ver a Vermax en el mar, luchando por mantenerse a flote mientras se hunde entre gritos de desesperación, es simplemente insoportable.

Esa sensación de impotencia mientras todo se desmorona te deja completamente roto.

Y aun así, lo que más termina de hundirte es Jace teniendo que abandonar a su propio dragón en mitad del desastre para poder sobrevivir.

Es de esas escenas tan bien ejecutadas, tan precisas en cómo te van llevando emocionalmente, que me va a costar horrores incluso volver a verla.
