Something that BLOWS MY MIND on, basically, a daily basis - is the ease of access we have to information.

First of all.

Do you fuckers understand that mass literacy wasn’t a thing until VERY RECENTLY?

The fact that everyone can read now is FUCKING INSANE, and is a product of the enlightenment era.

Mass literacy only became a thing in the LATE 18th century for Western Europe. 20th century for USA.

Prior to that, slaves were FORBIDDEN from being taught to read. It was a luxury afforded ONLY to the priestly, scholastic, and noble classes.

That’s one thing in and of itself.

Now about accessing the stuff.

One of (if not) THE greatest Christian Mystic of all time was Meister Eckhart. He lived in 13th century Germany and wrote various works on the soul’s divine union with God, detachment, and the nature of being.

I want you to picture something real quick.

Let’s say you heard about Meister Eckhart and are interested in hearing what he had to say…

How do you get your hands on his works?

Can you imagine what that process looks like if you’re a 14th century Englishmen?
How about a 16th century Italian?
Or an 18th century subsaharan?
Forget about it.

Literally next to impossible.

Never mind your inability to read because you weren’t born of noble lineage. Imagine JUST getting your hands on the books????

You would have literally ZERO chance of doing this.
Unless by some ABSOLUTE miracle.

Because you’ve got to understand — works like that, that carry what the established church might consider “alternative” was utterly forbidden and considered heresy.

So it’s not even just a matter of translation.
It’s also a matter of keeping it in relative secrecy.

But even so, imagine it’s translated and it’s allowed to be published … GOOD LUCK having it show up in whatever kind of libraries they had back then.

You are what you consume.

Load your subconscious mind intelligently with the raw data it needs, and watch, you will be AMAZED at what bubbles to the surface and manifests as INTUITION.

Consider this:

The strength and personal dignity of your self esteem is directly tied to your TOLERANCE FOR, and WILLINGNESS TO ENDURE, SILENCE.

Illusory identities (those sustained by continual noise, internal dialogue and distraction) DEMAND that you subconsciously retreat from all things Real.

The tradeoff of actively choosing against Knowing (experiencing) yourself.

Silence leaves room for magic to occur.

Your inability to endure it gracefully is often the only thing in the way of advancing into a significantly higher version of yourself.
