Professional beer and cider enthusiast. Unprofessional dog, tennis and snooker enthusiast. International Cider Challenge and World Drinks Awards Cider judge.
The thing modern British breweries have never got is "craft" beer drinkers want to drink trad German Helles, and "lager" drinkers want something cold, clear, fizzy and tasteless. Still there's loads of hazy/ddh/NZ hopped lager kicking about that nobody really likes.
First cider/Perry I've drunk for a long while. For someone who judged the world cider awards a couple of years ago, that's pretty wild. It's a steep drop once you're off the radar in the cider industry though.
#ProudOfBristol A hotel that has vulnerable asylum seekers
The hotel's being protected by hundreds of Bristolians shouting "We are many, you are few. We are Bristol, who are you" to a pitiful group of far right thugs who'd gone to the hotel#HopeNotHate
Miedema leaving Arsenal is awful news. I get we have Russo now, and Blackstenius has been great this season, but she's the all time top scorer in the WSL and will be in her prime when she's back to full fitness. I assume she's going to Chelsea and Kerr won't be signing a new deal
Casemiro and Jonny Evans as your CB partnership against this Arsenal side is, honestly, hilarious. Not unrealistic to be expecting 5 or 6 goals against this lot really.
James Watt: โyouโre letting me go?!?โ
โJames, some workers love a toxic work culture, we donโt know, we donโt wanna know. Frankly itโs a fanbase we could do withoutโ
โSo thatโs it, after 17 years, so long and good luck?โ
โI donโt recall saying good luckโ
Neil Robertson is such an enigma. Best cue action in the modern game probably, but just hasn't dominated like he maybe could have. I'm sure he's got more ranking titles in him, obviously. Just needs to play his own game. Play the risky pot, go for it.
