You fornicated, you lied, you compromised, or you fell into something you never imagined you would do… and now you’re sitting there wondering if God still wants you, if He still hears you, if He still has plans for someone like you. You’re ashamed, hiding, withdrawing, replaying everything in your mind, thinking maybe you’ve crossed a line that cannot be uncrossed. But listen. What the devil wants you to do right now is to disconnect. He wants you to run away from the only place that can heal you. He wants you to drown in regret so you never rise again. But God is not shocked by your weakness. He is not surprised by your struggle. He saw the battle before you even entered it, and His mercy was already waiting on the other side of your mistake.

You may feel dirty, unworthy, distant, and numb. You may even feel like praying is pointless because guilt has changed the sound of your own voice. But do you know what God sees? A child who is wounded, not rejected. A child who needs cleansing, not condemnation. A child who fell, not someone who cannot rise again. Shame will tell you to hide. Grace will tell you to come home. And the truth is, no matter how far you went, God has already prepared the journey back.

If you feel empty, let Him fill you. If you feel lost, let Him lead you. If you feel broken, let Him rebuild you. Your mistake doesn’t disqualify you, it just reveals how much you need Him—and that realization alone is already the beginning of restoration. Don’t let the weight of what you did push you away from the only One who can save you. Yes, you messed up. But God is still calling your name gently, patiently, without anger in His voice. He wants you, still.

And if you feel like you don’t even know how to start again, just whisper, “Lord, help me.” That’s enough. He can work with that. He can rebuild your strength from that. He can rewrite your story from that. You are not too far. You are not too dirty. You are not too lost. You are loved, pursued, wanted, and welcomed. Run back. God is waiting.

I am happy to be with a spouse whose family gives us keys to a Kololo apartment on our wedding. In the meantime, we'll proceed as I guide.

​We are still a society largely driven by peer pressure, leading to poor financial decisions. Why lock up capital in dead brick and mortar when it can grow while you live wherever you like?

​I always tell my "concerned" people that if I wanted to own a house, I would acquire one in cash. As for building from scratch, I'm happy to see land holdings appreciate in value. 15 years and counting.

Quick math: UGX 200m in govt paper yields ~UGX 2.5m monthly. USE is volatile, but certain stocks have generated even more lately. That income comfortably covers plenty of residential options in Kampala, in places where you need UGX 1bn just to own. I choose to keep capital intact and liquid.

From family pressure to friends, it takes being grounded not to apologize for your financial choices. As long as I sleep just fine, the rest is noise.

The Tooro new king HRM King Edward Rukidi Nyabongo l did not plan for this. He was focused on his private life, circumstances radically changed and he’s suddenly faced with big responsibilities.

He didn't campaign for the throne. Our King Oyo was groomed from age 3, Edward was pulled from a newsroom at 56 as the only option for the continuity of the Tooro dynasty.

We should stop comparing him. He did not ask for this.

People are comparing King Edward Rukidi as if he lobbied, campaigned, and schemed to replace King Oyo. He did not. Actually he accepted the heavy responsibility when someone else eligible said NO dur to his family responsibilities in the UK and more…

Our King Oyo was born to be King. He was groomed from childhood, crowned at 3, carried the kingdom for 31 years. That was his destiny.

Edward's destiny was different. He built a quiet life as a journalist, a father, a private citizen. He was not in royal meetings, not posting crowns, not positioning himself. He was reading the 9pm news.

When the Babiito clan elders led by Musuuga sat and chose him, it was their decision under Tooro custom, not his application.

You cannot compare a man for not being King Oyo. Oyo was flamboyant, young, world-famous. Edward is 56, calm, low-profile. Tooro needs different things at different times.

He did not steal a throne. He was handed a heavy crown in the middle of a funeral as the only last option for the continuity of the Tooro dynasty.

CLARIFICATION: He was not elected.

Tooro had to have a King on the throne within 9 days after Oyo's death as per custom — to perform the Karambi burial rites.

There was no proven son of our beloved king Oyo presented to the Babiito elders.

So the Royal Clan Council had to SELECT a new Omukama from the Babiito princes. That's what they did.

Not an election. Not a popular vote, but a cultural selection.

Prince Desmond was first choice and said no. Prince Edward accepted a huge kingdom responsibilities. It's selection by culture, not election by ballot.

Respect the culture.

I urge the Batooro If you loved Tooro under Omukama Oyo, show that love now by giving Tooro stability. Allow the new Omukama space to breathe, to learn the rituals, to mourn his cousin, and to grow into Rukidi Nyabongo I.

The throne is not a competition. It's a responsibility one can never imagine.

Let him work.

DON’T QUIT IN THE CHAPTER BEFORE THE PROMISE

I was reading the story of Abraham and Sarah in my devotion today, and something stood out to me.

In Genesis 18, God told Abraham that Sarah would have a son.

Sarah was listening from inside the tent.

And she laughed.

Not because she didn't want the promise, but because humanly speaking, it sounded impossible.

She was advanced in age.
Abraham was old.
The natural evidence around her did not agree with what God had spoken.

Then God asked:

“Is anything too hard for the LORD?”
— Genesis 18:14

But here is what really caught my attention:

The promise was given in Genesis 18, but Isaac arrived in Genesis 21.

There were chapters between the promise and the manifestation.

Chapters passed.
Time passed.
Sarah had to live in the in-between.

And perhaps that's where some of you are today.

God has spoken, but you're still waiting.

You prayed, but nothing seems to be changing.

You received the promise, but your circumstances keep telling you the opposite.

So what do you do while you wait?

1. HOLD ON TO WHAT GOD SAID.

Genesis 21:1 says:

“And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken.”

Notice those words:

“As He had said.”

The waiting did not rewrite God's Word.

What God said remained true even when the circumstances didn't look like it.

2. DON'T CREATE AN ISHMAEL BECAUSE ISAAC IS TAKING TOO LONG.

One of the dangers of waiting is becoming so frustrated with God's timing that we create our own solution.

Be careful.

A quick answer is not always God's answer.

Don't allow impatience to make you settle for something God never promised.

3. USE THE WAITING SEASON TO PREPARE.

Waiting is not wasted time.

Build your capacity.
Strengthen your faith.
Develop your character.
Learn.
Serve.
Pray.
Prepare.

Because sometimes God is preparing you for the very thing you're asking Him to release.

4. DON'T LET DELAY BECOME DISCOURAGEMENT.

Sarah laughed when she first heard the promise.

But eventually, she held the child she had laughed about.

The thing that once looked impossible became the thing she carried in her arms.

5. KEEP WALKING WITH GOD WHILE YOU WAIT.

Don't put your entire life on pause because one prayer hasn't been answered yet.

Keep serving.
Keep loving.
Keep building.
Keep praying.
Keep becoming.

Your waiting season can still be a growing season.

And remember this:

THE FACT THAT YOU ARE STILL WAITING DOES NOT MEAN GOD HAS FORGOTTEN WHAT HE SAID.

Sarah waited through chapters.

Then Genesis 21 happened.

“The LORD visited Sarah as He had said.”

Not as circumstances predicted.

Not as human logic expected.

As He had said.

So don't abandon the promise simply because you're living in the chapter before its fulfilment.

There are chapters between the promise and the manifestation.

DON'T QUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORY.

And today, I declare over you:

YOU WILL NOT DIE IN THE WAITING SEASON.

You will not abandon what God spoke because of how long it has taken.

You will not exchange God's promise for an impatient substitute.

Your faith will survive the silence.

Your hope will survive the delay.

Your hands will remain ready.

Your heart will remain surrendered.

What God has spoken over your life will not be cancelled by the length of the wait.

STAY IN POSITION.

Keep believing.
Keep preparing.
Keep praying.
Keep walking.

Your story is still being written.

THE CHAPTER YOU ARE IN IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY.

𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Thank You for sustaining us, preserving us, and bringing us into another day. Our lives are in Your hands, and we choose to trust You with everything concerning us.

Lord, Your Word declares in Joel 2:25, “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”

Therefore, we ask for restoration. Restore what has been lost, delayed, interrupted, wasted, or taken from us according to Your will and Your appointed time.

Restore opportunities that were lost through circumstances beyond our control. Restore relationships that are worth restoring. Restore vision where disappointment has caused discouragement. Restore strength where weariness has settled in. Restore joy where pain has taken its place.

Your Word says in Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor.” Turn seasons of disappointment into testimonies. Where there has been shame, bring honour. Where there has been loss, bring restoration. Where there has been reproach, let Your glory be revealed.

Father, teach us not to confuse delay with denial. Give us patience not to force what You have not released and discernment not to settle for what is beneath Your purpose.

Psalm 23:3 says, “He restores my soul.”

Restore our inner lives, Lord. Renew our strength, hope, faith, peace, and desire for Your presence. Heal the places where disappointment has made it difficult to trust again.

Father, preserve everything You have entrusted to us. According to Psalm 121:7, “The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.”

Preserve our lives, families, calling, work, relationships, resources, and every assignment You have placed in our hands.

Give us wisdom to steward every blessing and opportunity You provide. Keep us from losing what You have ordained through fear, distraction, poor judgment, or disobedience.

Lord, where You have ordained acceleration, let things begin to move. Let answers come. Let applications receive responses. Let the right doors open. Let necessary conversations happen. Let legitimate opportunities for this season find their way to us.

But above everything, let Your will prevail. We do not want merely what is available; we want what You have appointed. We do not want every open door; we want the doors You have opened.

Your Word declares in Psalm 126:5, “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

Father, let us remember that our prayers have not been wasted. Our obedience has not been wasted. Our waiting has not been wasted. Our tears have not been wasted. Let every seed sown in faith produce fruit in its appointed season.

Today, we choose hope again. We choose obedience again. We choose faith again. We choose to trust Your timing again.

We declare that we are moving forward, not backward; being restored, not destroyed; being strengthened, not weakened; being established, not uprooted.

Let this day bring divine appointments, timely answers, wisdom, favour, provision, and fresh evidence of Your goodness.

Restore what should be restored. Preserve what You have given us. Remove what should not remain. And order every step that comes next.

In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 🙏

Saturday Morning Prayer | September 12, 2026.

Let Us Pray 🙏

Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, on this Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, we come before You with thankful hearts. You are our refuge, our strength, and the One who never leaves us. We praise You for the gift of life, for the peace You give, and for the grace that has carried us through another week. Receive our worship and let our hearts remain fixed on You.

Father, Your Word says in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” As we enter this weekend, help us to lay down the burdens we have carried throughout the week. Quiet our hearts, renew our minds, and teach us to rest in Your presence. Where the demands of life have drained us, restore our strength, and give us grace to remember that we do not have to carry everything by ourselves.

Lord, look with mercy upon the work of our hands. Where this past week brought good results, teach us to be grateful. Where our efforts seemed fruitless, give us patience and wisdom. Where something remains unfinished, show us what to do next. Bless the work we have committed to You and prepare us for greater responsibilities in the days ahead.

Gracious Father, watch over our homes and those we love. Give families peace, strengthen relationships, provide for genuine needs, and let our homes be places of love, safety, and rest. Protect us in our journeys and preserve us from accidents, evil, sudden trouble, and every danger known and unknown.

Father of mercy and grace, remember those who cannot truly rest today because of what they are carrying. Some are worried about money, some are dealing with family difficulties, some are waiting for an answer, and some are simply exhausted from everything life has demanded of them. Meet them with Your peace. Give rest to troubled hearts, strength to the weary, and hope to those who feel overwhelmed.

Father, for those who have spent this week praying and waiting for a change, let this weekend remind them that You are still at work. Bring encouragement where there has been disappointment, provide where there is need, and open a way where one is needed. Let no one among us lose heart while waiting for Your appointed time.

Today, we declare:

Our hearts are at rest in God.

We will not be consumed by worry.

Our homes will experience peace.

The work of our hands will be fruitful.

We receive fresh strength for the days ahead.

We will not lose hope while we wait.

God's goodness will remain evident in our lives.

We will enter the coming week with renewed strength and faith.

Almighty God, thank You for hearing us. Let this Saturday be a day of peace, restoration, meaningful moments, and renewed strength. Keep us close to You and help us to recognize Your goodness in the simple things around us.

May Your presence rest upon us, Your peace fill our hearts, and Your grace remain with us throughout this day.

Almighty and everlasting God, our Heavenly Father, on this Friday morning, September 11, 2026, we come before You with grateful hearts. You are holy, faithful, merciful, and good. You have been our keeper through the night and our help throughout this week. When we were weak, You carried us. When we could not see what was ahead, Your hand was still guiding us. For all Your faithfulness, we give You glory and praise.

And as we look back over the week, we cannot deny Your goodness. There were moments that could have broken us, yet You gave us strength. There were things we did not understand, yet You gave us grace to keep trusting You. We may not have received everything we asked for, but we have not lacked Your presence. So, Lord, we thank You for bringing us this far, and we place the rest of this day into Your hands.

Lord, as we come to the end of this week, help us to finish well. Give us clear minds, steady hearts, and grace to complete what remains. Where we have fallen behind, give us wisdom to recover. Where we have made mistakes, teach us. Where we have made progress, keep us humble. Let us end this week wiser, stronger, and closer to Your purpose.

Bless the work of our hands today, O Lord. Let our labour bear good fruit. Give favour to those awaiting results, wisdom to those making important decisions, creativity to those building, and strength to those working. Where something good has been delayed, let there be movement according to Your will. Establish what is good and remove what is not.

Merciful Father, we bring before You those among us who are ending this week with a heavy heart. Some have worked hard but have little to show for it. Some are carrying financial burdens, family concerns, or disappointments they cannot easily explain. Some are smiling before others while fighting silent battles within. Lord, remember them. Give strength to those who are tired of being strong, comfort to those who are disappointed, and grace to those who simply need to make it through another day.

Father, we also pray for those who have been waiting on You for a long time. The person waiting for employment, the family trusting You for provision, the one praying for restoration, the business owner trusting You for a breakthrough, and the person carrying a prayer they have almost stopped talking about. Lord, let their waiting not be wasted. Bring help in the right time, open the right door, and give them the grace to trust You until the answer comes.

Today, we declare:

We will not end this week empty.

The grace that carried us this far will carry us through.

The work of our hands will be fruitful.

We will not be defined by what went wrong this week.

We receive grace to finish well.

We will enter the days ahead with stronger faith and renewed hope.

What God has begun in our lives will not be abandoned.

We will have reasons to return with thanksgiving.

Almighty God, receive our thanks and hear our prayers. As this Friday unfolds, order our steps, bless our efforts, protect all that concerns us, and let Your good purpose prevail in our lives.

May we end this week with peace in our hearts, gratitude on our lips, and confidence in Your faithfulness.

🙏 PRAYER FOR TODAY | SEPTEMBER 10, 2026
STRENGTH TO FINISH WELL

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank You for the gift of this new day. Thank You for the grace that has carried me this far. I receive today with gratitude and place every hour into Your hands.

Lord, strengthen me for everything You have assigned to me. Your Word says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13

When I am tired, renew my strength.
When I face resistance, give me endurance.
When progress is slow, teach me patience.
When the road is difficult, keep me from giving up.

Give me grace to remain faithful in both the great and the small things. Help me value unseen obedience and ordinary responsibilities.

Lord, deliver me from distraction. Help me distinguish between what demands my attention and what deserves it. Remove every unnecessary weight that is slowing my obedience and weakening my focus.

“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus.” — Hebrews 12:1–2

When I am discouraged, let me look to Jesus. When I am tempted, give me strength to choose the way of escape You provide. Strengthen my prayer life and deepen my hunger for Your Word.

Father, help me finish what You have entrusted to me with integrity. Give me wisdom to know when You are redirecting me and courage to persevere when You are asking me to continue.

Today I receive:

Strength for my assignment.
Grace for my responsibilities.
Wisdom for my decisions.
Endurance for my challenges.
Faith to keep going.

The God who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it. — Philippians 1:6

May I finish this day faithfully, this week faithfully, and ultimately finish my race with faith intact.
