On Aug 7 2022 @USAmbKenya promised to work on family visas, wait time for interview letters is 20 plus, children are separated from their parents, causing marriages to break, stress, and anxiety 😥.

Frustrated with the spousal visa wait times in Nairobi! It's unacceptable that couples are kept apart for so long. We need a more efficient process that values family unity.

@citizentvkenya Ask her about spousal visas delays taking 2 years delays, getting a birth certificate and passports for children interviews 1 year after application. The wait times are draining and frustrating, it is depressing to be in a long distance relationship.

@citizentvkenya Kindly ask her about spousal visa delays. Only Nairobi is facing a 2 yr visa interview delay and still blaming COVID. Other larger and busier embassies don’t have have similar level of delays.
