DD-Report: Ledgity Yield

TL;DR: I think it’s ledgity... I mean legit.

After researching @LedgityYield, set to launch on June 4th, via @SingularityDAO, @Kommunitas1, and @Dappadofficial, the SDAO community uncovered a few critical points needing clarification:
🔹 The project already launched a token, $LTY, three years ago
🔹 All Medium articles and most tweets about $LTY have been deleted

Some background...

Token Allocation and Fundraising
🔹 Pre-Seed -> $LTY Token: $LTY-holders make up the pre-seed allocation in the $LDY Tokenomics. The CEO mentioned that part of that is your average crypto community and some participants are from his own network, contributing to the community ownership aspect. They raised $1m.
🔹 Seed -> LBP and $LDY Token: Recently, they conducted a Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) event, which is similar to a Token Generation Event (TGE) but aims to establish a fair initial price for the token. The LBP raised $562k.
Here's the allocation breakdown:

Comparison with Other Projects
Sophiaverse: Raised $2.4m in the seed round and had an angel round with similar figures. Although they haven’t had a token prior to the official launch, angel investors invested years ago and the project also had a different name.
Hypercycle: Raised similar numbers in seed rounds as Sophiaverse.
Ledgity seems to stay true to their community-centric approach and the tokenomics reflect that by not benefitting Seed-investors by a lot.

Concerns and Clarifications
🔹 Relaunch and New Fundraising
Their explanation: "After the launch of ledgity yield protocol the contract was not appropriate to integrate the new utility function attached to ledgity yield protocol. So we restructure our TOKENOMICS for the LDY." And: "With the launch of Ledgity Yield protocol we wanted to launch in a much better situation especially with much higher liquidity. 80% of the sale will be used for the liquidity across dex and MM for Cex" I'm not going to comment on this, everyone needs to know for themselves what to make of this.
🔹 Deletion of Medium Articles and Tweets
The project's response to this concern was: “Because it’s not accurate information now. New utility functions attached to https://t.co/b1CsGnEfQs, structuration of the TOKENOMICS with a community-centric approach…” While deleting past information might not be ideal imo, it doesn't appear to stem from shady intentions.

Investor Advantage Analysis
🔹 Pre-Seed Investors: face the biggest disadvantage, paying even slightly more than Launchpad investors and having triple the vesting time. Considering many of the investors are part from the CEOs network, it's kinda surprising that they have worse conditions but this shows that they stay true to their community-centric approach.
🔹 Seed Investors: have the most advantageous conditions, though not significantly better than Launchpad investors.
The allocation details from the LBP indicate a total of 7.5M tokens sold, with 7M released so far. The discrepancy in tokenomics (7.75M tokens mentioned) remains unclear despite me asking FOUR TIMES (!) about it.
🔹 Launchpad investors: Imo the playing field is leveld and Launchpad investors have no real disadvantage. For other launches, the differences are often much much bigger and unfairer for Launchpad-Investors.

Current Product Status
Ledgity Yield has a working product with a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $50k, distributed among 1816 holders, averaging about $28 per holder. While the TVL isn’t impressive, having a functional product pre-launch is notable.

Due Diligence and Investment Decision
Given that reputable entities like @SingularityDAO, @chainlink, @Kommunitas1, and @Dappadofficial have conducted thorough due diligence, the project must have a good foundation. I find the project and especially the tokenomics attractive and plan to invest, though this is not financial advice.
