He stopped talking to me. It was a talking stage.
One day, we were on a phone call discussing a gangster series I was watching. He had seen it, too. I mentioned that selling and doing drugs is wrong, and somehow, the conversation drifted to Yahoo. I told him nothing justifies fraud or criminal activity.

But he kept trying to make me see reasons why some people choose to become fraudsters or gangsters. So I casually replied that, by the same logic, people should also understand women who collect money for sex instead of judging them.

There was silence for a few seconds.

Then he asked, “Do you really mean what you're saying?”

I said yes.

The call ended, and he never called me again.
