@Ballknower3350 Yusuf is simply too important both for his attacking and defensive qualities, Judah isn’t of upper mls quality YET and yueill is just garbage. Ol man polster wouldn’t be able to progress the man, nor would Raines. Yusuf’s passing from deep is crucial to break lines+ prog the ball
@Ballknower3350 It’s a bit of both, Gil just isn’t the same player he used to be but he’s still great. His second half position has been so much better (dor). Unlucky twice
@Ballknower3350 I don’t think San Jose is a pretender…Bruce is just such a great GM and man manager he can get anyone playing at a top MLS level. Kes, bye, Polster and others from 2021 that were great under Bruce are of little to no relevance in the league. You never know tho not a crazy shout
@guypatterson It makes so much more sense for us to focus on the competition that matters most. Any fan would take an mls cup (maybe a ss) over USOC, focusing on the league rn will help us stride in that direction. No excuse to not have better bench depth for the match tho, that’s on mitrovic
@Ballknower3350@cointelNGO You’re definitely not wrong about CCC, I just think that if you’re gonna establish yourself as a top club in any league you need to prioritize league performance, regardless of how early in the season it is. Take spurs, focused UEL and are now on the brink of relegation.
@Footy_In_NE_Fan I agree but you need to sign younger than that, 20-22 or something around there, these players are yet to really have molded to the style of place of their leagues of origin and tend to adapt to mls better. Take borrero or langoni vs nacho gil or vrioni for example.
@mildbrokenbil I agree…we aren’t yet out the mud yet but still something positive to build on. I thought Yusuf was a great addition to the attack and allowed our attack to flow better.
All these stupid revs fans on Twitter were crying like children 2 games into the season…see what happens when you give a manager just a bit of time. No doubt this could be a hoax, but there are signs of big things ahead. #nerevs
