My God Mother @honlaraoyekan LAGOS ISLAND ARE READY

[Ajayi Oriyomi @OriyomiOflagos]

For many families on Lagos Island the cost of school fees, books, uniforms and other necessities is a daily concern. Yet parents continue to make sacrifices because they believe their children deserve a brighter future.

This is why the Back to School Programme with Hon. Lara Oyekan-Olumegbon matters. Leadership must go beyond promises to touching lives, easing burdens and investing in the next generation.

And guess what? We are going beyond school supplies, we are introducing our children to financial inclusion and financial literacy, giving them access to bank accounts, ATM cards and an opportunity to own a share of the Dangote Refinery IPO. We are not just preparing them for school, we are helping them prepare for financial independence and a future of possibilities.

In just 2 days, we return bigger and better reaching more families and putting smiles on the faces of many children.

When the people matter, their struggles matter. When their children thrive, our future is brighter

The Hon. Lara Oyekan-Olumegbon Back to School Programme returns with a renewed commitment to supporting students with school bags and other essential learning materials.

Lagos Island, are you ready?

Yesterday, I joined my dear father, the Oba of Lagos, HRM Oba Rilwan Akiolu, alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu and Prince Fatai Akiolu, to receive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR @officialABAT during his private visit to the historic Iga Idunganran Palace.

This gathering underscored the vital partnership between our political leaders and traditional institutions in driving community engagement, peace, and progress.

CONGRATULATORY LETTER TO MY DEAR FATHER!

I write this with a heart filled with immense joy, gratitude and pride as I celebrate you on your installation as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland.

Baba, this is a truly special moment for me because I am not just celebrating an illustrious leader being honoured; I am celebrating a man whose life, principles, wisdom and dedication have continued to inspire me and so many others.

As you take on this noble responsibility as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you the wisdom, strength, good health and patience required to serve the Ummah and the entire Yoruba community with distinction.

May Allah continue to preserve you, increase you in good health, and make this new chapter of your life a source of greater fulfilment.

Congratulations Baba mi.

[Hon. Princess Lara Oyekan Olumegbon @honlaraoyekan]

On behalf of my family, constituents, and the good people of Lagos Island Constituency I, I warmly felicitate with you on the occasion of your 62nd birthday.

Today provides an opportunity to celebrate not only another year of your life, but also your years of service to Lagos State and your contributions to public administration and governance. You have served as Deputy Governor of Lagos State since 2019, and in 2026 emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2027 Lagos State Governorship Election.

As you mark this special milestone, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you sound health, wisdom, strength and continued guidance as you discharge your responsibilities to the people of Lagos State.

May this new chapter bring greater opportunities for service, renewed strength for the tasks ahead, and abundant blessings to you and your family.

Happy 62nd Birthday, Your Excellency. @drobafemihamzat

Specially celebrating an inspiring leader, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State and APC Governorship Candidate, as he marks his 62nd birthday.

Dr Hamzat represents a distinctive blend of intellectual depth, political sagacity and an understanding of the dynamics of public leadership.

May the years ahead bring renewed strength and fulfillment.

[Taiwo Adeniyi @Tosquo]

When they say "Doings," this is exactly what they mean. 🔥

Hon. Princess Lara Oyekan Olumegbon @honlaraoyekan is showing us what responsive governance looks like. Raising the bar from 5,000 to 10,000 packages so it reaches every single child in Lagos Island Constituency 1.

A State lawmaker executing what federal lawmakers use as a major campaign blueprint. And to think this is her 4th edition.

Talk about an uncommon leader who actually listens and delivers.

Lagos Island is ready!!! Let’s give her her flowers. 💐

As your representative for Lagos Island Constituency 1, standing firmly in our rich heritage is everything.

Deeply blessed to receive prayers at the Eyo Oru from the LABA EKUN, prayers extending to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat @drobafemihamzat.

More than 25 years after the Okanlaba of Laba Ekun’s prophecy about Mr. President, we see the undeniable manifestation of our heritage. Truly, genuine prayers said in certain plays have certain ways of manifesting. 🇳🇬

Indeed, Allah and His angels confer blessing upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace."

[Hon. Princess Lara Oyekan Olumegbon @honlaraoyekan]

As Muslims across the world commemorate the blessed occasion of Mawlid- Nabiyy, I warmly extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Muslim Ummah, particularly the good people of Lagos Island Constituency.

Mawlid offers us a precious opportunity to reflect on the exemplary life, noble character and enduring teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). His life remains a timeless model of compassion, justice, patience, humility, peaceful coexistence and service to humanity.

I also encourage us to use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, support those in need, and promote peace and understanding within our communities.

May the blessings, peace and mercy of Allah SWT be upon us all.

Happy Mawlid an-Nabi.
