Ukraine is entering its third severe winter of war after more than 1000 days of war. Almost daily there are Russian missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Today was the grand opening of the new 10.000 tonns potato storage of Adelaide in Zhytomyr Oblast 🇺🇦 . They had to move from south of Kherson due to temporary occupation. The storage has 🇳🇱 technologies as well and is funded by USAID #StandWithUkraine

Recently we visited the project Rebuilding Potato Ukraine near Chernihiv. An initiative of @sayagrico & @APHGroup. The investment into drip irrigation, storage, machinery & training for #potato growers is supported by 🇳🇱 government 1/2

Afterwards we visited dairy farm Rozhvolozhzhya - during the first period of fullscale invasion they were able to feed the local community, incl bringing flour to Kyiv, when normal supply chains were disrupted #foodsecurity

Last week we visited the #dairy plant Bilotserkivskyi together with the EU integration committee of Ukrainian dairy. We discussed the current challenges in the dairy sector, incl power cuts and changing consumer habits. Despite, the factory does all it can to keep running
