3 & 4 years ago, I bought a couple of one year old Class 9’s averaging $325k. Just before they went ⬆️ $150-200k.

I had good trades, borrowing the difference with cheap 2% money.

Now they are not worth much more than the remaining debt!

And a new one is $650k 😳 w $4 corn

@marioncofarmer @pete_90210 So saving dirt and fertilizer from loss doesn’t pay? You pay rent or to purchase a farm. You pay for fertilizer. When erosion happens you lose both. That’s a loss of money. When the dirt/ fert stays in the field, it pays for covers
