@StormchaserZJ @MatthewCappucci @CameronJNixon @ameliaUrquhart_ A wind speed of 75 mph was recorded at Will Rogers. Think it is real, but remember those winds we be at least a couple hundred feet above the surface. Friction would like decrease the surface winds by 10-20 mph.

@Brody_wx With the instability axis in southwest OK, those storms should turn more southeastward with time and likely miss Norman. However, storms in northwest OK are headed for Norman in the 10pm-midnight time period.

@NWStulsa I am visiting in FSM today and have seen several large limbs down and some uprooted trees from yesterday evening’s storms. Was not here during storm, but damage suggests winds near or higher than 70 mph.
