MY STATEMENT ON THE UNVEILING OF FKF ELECTORAL BOARD
Following the unveiling of the FKF Electoral Board, I would like to reaffirm our commitment to supporting them in delivering a transparent, free, fair, and credible electoral process that will restore the integrity of Kenyan football.
However, we must raise serious concerns regarding key issues that must be addressed to ensure the elections are conducted in a manner that respects the will of football stakeholders across the country.
1.Voter Register Manipulation
We are acutely aware of past and ongoing attempts to manipulate the voter register by certain individuals within the FKF Secretariat. This practice cannot be allowed to continue. The voter register must be made public, transparent, and safeguarded from tampering to ensure that every eligible voter has a fair say in this election.
2.Electoral Board's Independence
The FKF Electoral Board must demonstrate its independence by operating from a neutral location, entirely detached from Kandanda House. This is crucial to ensure the electoral process remains free from undue influence by current FKF officials, many of whom are also contenders.
3.Involvement of the IEBC
To guarantee impartiality and professionalism, we strongly urge the Electoral Board to engage the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to oversee the elections. The IEBC has the technical expertise and experience necessary to ensure a credible and transparent process.
4.Resolving Disputes at the Grassroots
All voter register disputes and other electoral grievances must be resolved at the grassroots level, where they originate, rather than in Nairobi. This approach will empower local football stakeholders and ensure their concerns are addressed fairly and promptly.
5.Compliance with the Sports Act 2013
The FKF Electoral Board must uphold and fully comply with the provisions of the Sports Act 2013 and our constitution.
6.County Headquarters as Polling Stations
To enhance accessibility and fairness, we demand that polling stations for branch grassroots elections be located at county headquarters. This will allow football delegates and voters to participate in the process without facing unnecessary logistical challenges and intimidation.
While we welcome the release of the roadmap, we will not hesitate to hold the FKF Electoral Board accountable if they fail to adhere to the principles of transparency, fairness, and integrity. The future of Kenyan football depends on a credible election, and we are fully committed to ensuring that happens.

These initiatives not only provide a sustainable source of income but also contribute to environmental conservation and food security. The dedication and hard work of these women is truly inspiring.
