Dark personalities (narcissists/psychopaths), engage in unwarranted covert campaigns to; destroy people who expose their dark side, because they enjoy damaging others, because they are vengeful towards those who may do something appropriate but which they do not like.

Dark personalities go to great lengths to maintain their public facade, while engaging in an extraordinarily extensive, deep and effective campaign of destruction of their victim.

This campaign involves creating convincing complex false narrative about their victim, claiming the innocent victim is nefarious while they are innocent, buying off and manipulating others to support them, finely tuned and astute provocation of the victim so others only see the reactions and do not understand the pain that has been inflicted to the victim, extraordinary rewriting of history in such a compelling way that others believe them, as well as many other underhanded tactics (which the dark personality gets substantial satisfaction from engaging in).

Often, there is evidence to indicate the true nature of the dark personality but people refuse to see it. A picture drawn by the children or by media of the dark personality yelling at someone while thumping a table, evidence of business dealings with parties who knowingly engage in nefarious deals, subtle use of intimidation if questioned, explanations that don’t quite add up, a ‘weirdness’ in relation to closeness and so many more red flags.

The dark personality is extremely confident that their attacks on the victims will be invisible or seen as the fault of the victim. At the very worst people will think “it takes 2 to tango”.

Dark personalities are rarely held to account because of their brilliance at creating a smoke screen when they are doing what they do best, destroying others.
