I guess Nestorianism and other non-Trinitarian heterodox groups just didn't exist in the East in late antiquity. What do you think the Council of Ephesus was all about?

Yes, early Muslims did pray and even participate in the rites at Kathisma, but the sources don't name any specific Sahaba or tabi'un.

The Kathisma itself, suggests that Theotokos as a theological concept was independent of Trinitarian doctrine, and centered specifically around Mary's virginal motherhood.

Neither the primary sources nor scholarship corroborate that Ikelia, the one who built the church of Kathisma in 456 A.D., was a Trinitarian. You made this up. The fact that you think every Christian pilgrim to visit the church was a Trinitarian and that Mary was just "venerated" there tells me all I need to know.

Finally make some progress on this etymological section of my paper, it was difficult to come up with how go about it because I had to consistently take a step back everytime I would get started. Hopefully I can finish this part up in like a couple of days.
