Michigan and the US is mostly single family and it is unlawful to build most house types except for a SFH that the state has to subsidize. We need to prioritize transit oriented designed, how can we solve the housing crisis when most homes are illegal?

You are making the mistake of believing every boomer is a wealthy elite, many are struggling with property taxes. We can easily tax the richest of them to make up and exceed the property tax revenue

To prevent seniors from being priced out who are struggling like those in historically segregated communities he would cap property tax, but only at the cost of taxing the rich to create a surplus and prevent seniors from losing generational wealth
