@vintageversus 1) i believe that Jesus is the messiah, which is what he’s talking about
2) why on earth would you quote the gospel of John as if that’s something Jesus said lol

In From Divine Timemaker to Divine Watchmaker, R. T. Mullins argues that the classical doctrine of divine timelessness faces serious philosophical and theological difficulties. The book defends a robust form of divine temporality instead.
@TaymiApologia@ChAbdennor A Christian lying and pretending to be an ex Muslim to cause confusion?
No way! A Christian would never engage in such deceptive behavior, definitely not!
If you’ve ever wondered why Godlogic is running from Libyano, @muslimorthodoxy here’s the reason:
Godlogic has a habit of trying to “kill the stars” of the new generation of dawah speakers online before they become popular. He seeks them out early, debates them aggressively, and tries to end their momentum.
He attempted the same strategy with Libyano. They arranged a debate, but it backfired badly. Libyano destroyed him so thoroughly that you can see it in Godlogic’s face and body language throughout the video. Libyano used advanced terms and asked sharp, precise questions that completely hooked and confused him, leading to multiple blunders. It was clear he had never faced a debater of that caliber before.
Just watch the video and observe his mood for yourself. 00:40
Since that day, Godlogic (the son of running) always disappears or makes excuses whenever Libyano is present.
@Legionnaire432 So you keep jumping from point to point when you get refuted, but I’ll entertain it.
This verse says nothing about the scriptures. It says ask the people who *used to* read the scriptures
The Qurʿān is referencing specific people here. Why did they stop reading the scriptures?
@Legionnaire432 A lot of assumptions built into “Qurʿān affirms the Torah and Gospel”, this whole argument relies on a particular understanding of “affirming” which is not supported by the Qurʿān, nor its earliest followers
