Here's what I learned about crypto wallet security using @vultisig (MPC wallet):

Setup takes 2 steps:

1️⃣ Connect 2-3 devices. Your private key gets split into separate files, one stored locally on each device.

2️⃣ Before saving each file, you'll get the option to add a password. Use a strong, random password (128-bit) on every device's file.

Now, every time you send crypto, you need to sign the transaction with all connected devices.

Even if a hacker somehow gets access to all your key files, they still can't touch your funds because each one is locked behind its own password.

Write your passwords down on paper (not digitally), and store the key files separately — one on cloud, one on USB, etc.

If you actually study this setup, it's more secure than a hardware wallet.
