إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ،
މީގެ ދެ ދުވަސް ކުރިން ހިނގި މަގުމަތީ އެކްސިޑެންޓެއްގައި ޒަޚަމްވި ކުޑަ ކުއްޖަކު ނިޔާވުމާއި، މިއަދު އިމާރާތަކުން ވެއްޓުނު ތުއްތު ކުއްޖަކު ނިޔާވި ޚަބަރުން، މުޅި ޤައުމަށްވެސް ނުތަނަވަސް އަދި ހިތާމަވެރި އިޙްސާަސްތަކެއް ކޮށްފި. މި މަޢުޞޫމް 2 ކުދިންގެ ޢާއިލާއަށް ތަޢުޒިޔާ ދަންނަވަން. އަދި، އެ ދެ މަރްޙޫމުން، ސުވަރުގޭގެ މަތިވެރި ނިޢުމަތްތަކާއި ފާގަތިކަމުގައި ލެހެއްޓެވުން އެދި ދުޢާކުރަން.

މަގުމައްޗާއި އުސް އިމާރާތްތަކުގައި ހިނގާ މިފަދަ ކުއްލި ނުރައްކާތެރި އެކްސިޑެންޓްތަކާމެދު ޢާއްމު ހޭލުންތެރިކަން އިތުރުކުރުމަކީ މުޅި މުޖްތަމަޢު ގުޅިގެން ކުރަން ޖެހިފައިވާ ޤައުމީ އަދި އިންސާނީ މަސައްކަތެއް. ވަކިން ޚާއްޞަކޮށް އުސް އިމާރާތްތަކުގެ ކުޑަދޮރު، ބެލްކަނި، ރެއިލިންގ ފަދަ ތަންތަނުގެ ސަލާމަތީ ކަންކަން ކަށަވަރުކުރުން މުހިންމު. ނަފްސާނީ އަދި ނުކުޅެދުންތެރިކަން ހުންނަ ފަރާތްތަކާއި ތުއްތު ކުދިން ބެލެހެއްޓުމުގައި، އެފަދަ މީހުންނާއި ކުދިން އުޅޭ ގޭގެގައި އިމާރާތްތައް ބަލަހައްޓާ ފަރާތްތަކާއި ޢާއިލާތައް ގުޅިގެން ޒިންމާދާރު ފިޔަވަޅުތަކެއް އަޅަން ޖެހޭ.

ސަރުކާރާއި ކުންފުނިތަކާއި މަދަނީ ޖަމުޢިއްޔާތަކާއި އަދި އެންމެހައި ފަރުދުން ގުޅިގެން، ޚާއްޞަ އިސްކަމެއް ދީގެން، މަގުމައްޗާއި އިމާރާތްތަކުގެ ސަލާމަތް ޔަޤީންކޮށް، ހޭލުންތެރިކަން އިތުރުކުރުމުގެ ޕުރޮގްުރާމުތައް، ވަރަށް ރަނގަޅަށް އިންތިޒާމުކުރެވިގެން ކުރިއަށް ގެންގޮސްދެއްވުމަށް އަޅުގަނޑު އިލްތިމާސްކުރަން.

On #WorldHumanitarianDay, we stand in solidarity with humanitarian personnel around the world who risk their lives in the service of humanity.

At a time of growing humanitarian need, nowhere is the failure to protect civilians and aid workers more evident than in Gaza. The Maldives condemns the obstruction of humanitarian aid and violence against relief personnel and reiterates its call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

We honour those who serve as humanitarians, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live. Their courage demands our collective commitment to uphold international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of all humanitarian personnel.
