@cfryant Stable longer durations, not self correcting but asking you if needed/adequate, editing videos properly when you ask it to with results like what you asked for.

@SteveRudzinski@hollywoodscifi Sure, some have. Note that with small budgets I meant financially but also in terms of time. Moreover, quality is often low & the ones I liked which had some creative ideas or concepts/techniques etc were available for free.Overall I think you misunderstood quality & time aspects
@JSFILMZ0412 Well done! When I checked that film festival for whether to add it to our AI films awards page I couldn't find any page for the winners - seems like they haven't given out awards yet but pls let me know if they have.
@aurora_kosmik@Variety Good then that it's not being used. And not, it doesn't directly copy. Please educate yourself. Also pls no more misinfo tweets like saying nobody making money off these tools.
@AlfredAlfer77 Please get informed. There's about 300 in our database, depending on where you draw the line of competence, that's still 50-250. There's also leaderboards overall & per language or country. Still relatively few, at least when it comes to AI-tagged films freely available.
@aurora_kosmik@Variety The reason why modern films are as good as they currently are is because humans have access to expensive footage to work such as having watched other films and learning from them. Money is made by those offering AI video tools for pay + the filmmakers via eg affiliate links.
@scrumble_eggs@Variety The context here was "becomes very apparent when you see what they produce" where you referred to indie filmmakers using AI for films.
@pubity I think lowering barriers to access and the films made possible by that is more interesting and valuable than them cutting costs plus having some neat extra shots/scenes they otherwise wouldn't have
@sols2889@aurora_kosmik@Variety You're talking about the costs for the model providers or the cost for filmmakers? I think companies providing AI video models aren't far from making profits and maybe already make some significant amount. And Sora is not by Google.
@aurora_kosmik@Variety This is simply false but choose to believe what you want. Make a short fantasy or scifi film for example that looks like the good ones the traditional way and check how much it costs (/costed those who did so).
