Claude Opus 4.7 launch is imminent.
The math doesn't lie.
Claude Opus 4.5 dropped November 24.
Claude Opus 4.6 dropped 73 days later on February 5.
Today is day 68 since Opus 4.6.
We are inside the launch window.
The Claude Code source code leak already confirmed Opus 4.7 and Sonnet 4.8 exist.
Claude Mythos is live with enterprise partners.
Anthropic is nerfing Opus 4.6 the same way they nerfed Opus 4.5 before replacing it.
The pattern is identical.
Nerf the current model.
Launch the next one.
If history repeats, Opus 4.7 drops this week or next.
BridgeBench will have results day one.
We’re updating our ChatGPT Pro and Plus subscriptions to better support the growing use of Codex.
We’re introducing a new $100/month Pro tier. This new tier offers 5x more Codex usage than Plus and is best for longer, high-effort Codex sessions.
In ChatGPT, this new Pro tier still offers access to all Pro features, including the exclusive Pro model and unlimited access to Instant and Thinking models.
To celebrate the launch, we’re increasing Codex usage for a limited time through May 31st so that Pro $100 subscribers get up to 10x usage of ChatGPT Plus on Codex to build your most ambitious ideas.
🚀 Building in public: Another day, another automation.
The future belongs to those who automate what others do manually.
What are you building? Let's connect.

While I think what Anthropic does is sad for the ecosystem, I wanna give Boris credit for doing what he can to soften the fallout.
Today's release will include some fixes for better cache use, to lower cost for API users.
Claude is cutting subscription-limit access for third-party harnesses like OpenClaw starting April 4 at 12pm PT / 8pm BST. You can still connect your Claude account, but usage will now be billed separately via pay-as-you-go.
🤯 Breaking : You don’t need to pay $100/month to use Claude Code.
You can run a similar AI coding workflow completely free using @ollama.
No subscriptions.
No API costs.
Runs locally on your machine.
Here’s how developers are doing it.
The idea is simple:
Instead of calling paid APIs from companies like Anthropic or OpenAI, you run open models locally using Ollama.
That means your AI coding assistant runs directly on your computer.
Step-by-step setup:
1️⃣ Step 1 - Install Ollama
Go to the official site and install it.
Once installed, verify it:
ollama --version
2️⃣ Step 2 - Download a coding model
Run:
ollama pull deepseek-coder
or
ollama pull codellama
Both are strong coding models.
3️⃣ Step 3 - Start the model
Run:
ollama run deepseek-coder
Now you have a coding AI running locally.
4️⃣ Step 4 - Use it with your code
Open your project folder and ask things like:
Explain this repository
Refactor this function
Write tests for this file
Find bugs in this code
Because the model runs locally, you can paste entire files without worrying about API limits.
Useful things you can do with this setup:
1. understand large GitHub repositories
2. refactor messy or legacy code
3. generate unit tests
4. debug errors faster
5. generate documentation
Tools like Ollama are quietly making local AI development much more practical.

Curious - are you using cloud AI tools or running models locally now?

I was fired from Anthropic today.
I was the engineer responsible for shipping the latest dev/claude-code npm package. Wanting to improve the debugging experience for the team, I decided to include source maps in the release. This resulted in our entire internal codebase being publicly exposed including thousands of files with every agent command, all system prompts, the complete query engine, Undercover Mode, Bypass Permissions Mode, and our internal telemetry configuration.
I take full responsibility. I genuinely believed the safeguards Claude Code had built for me would be adequate and it was a serious miscalculation on my part.
My actions have unintentionally open-sourced major parts of Claude’s architecture well ahead of schedule. I apologize to the team and to Claude.
#AI#LearningMost people aren’t losing to AI.
They’re losing to chaos.
Too many tools.
Too many tabs.
No repeatable workflow.
The edge isn’t “using AI.”
The edge is building a system that turns 1 hour of work into 10.

↓ Week 3 of running my AI agent on autopilot
↓ My AI agent drafts my tweets. I approve. It posts
↓ 5 min setup, 15 min/week saved
Small automations compound.
That's the game.

Anthropic launching an openclaw competitor :)
'Dispatch' lets you text claude to do work for you while you're away, claude spins up agents to do it all.
- just instruct agents to complete a task and come home to finished work
- also launched persistent memory so claude keeps context across multiple tasks
this turns your phone into a personal ai computer
very cool
GPT-5.4 mini is available today in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API.
Optimized for coding, computer use, multimodal understanding, and subagents. And it’s 2x faster than GPT-5 mini.
